    He's a legend, I look forward to see what he's flogging next and all the cack he spouts. Oh, and those poses for the pics, absolute genious! Mind you - i find his constant referal to frets somewhat disturbing. Im sure those sleeves on his well worn xmas jumpers should be tied together around his back, he should then be returned to his rubber wallpapered room!! I really wish i had - had thought of trawlling junk shops and second hand shops in perpetual search for beat up old crummy instruments and make huge claims to of made them good and better than the genuine artical. Now, i think i may need a lie down in my van!

    Sorry for butting in, but I also have this adversion to rosewood fretboards on MM and P basses. For me personally i like the tone from a maple board, i think rosewood boards make the neck look short. If the fretboard and headstock are both maple then the neck looks longer. It's just to busy with a coloured body - rosewood board and natural headstock. Just me and my weirdness i guess.... Loving the finish by the way....goodluck with the trade.

    Hi all, Since acquiring my second SS1 this little fella' has become somewhat redundant... 2001 Warwick Streamer LX4 (MIG) Refinished in black gloss - please see pic as to why i had it refinished. This is quite common of Warwicks from this era, matching grain density's was not a high priority as it is today. [attachment=119337:streamer lx 004.jpg] Anyway, its now black and shiny, no dings no scratches. Ovangkol neck, wenge fingerboard all in excellent condition - Trussrod has plenty of adjustment - MEC 2EQ no issues. Fret life plenty good.. Fitted with Just-a-nut II Asking £650 shipped or possible trades to the value of for a decent 5 stringer. Comes with generic hard case. Bass is located in Rugeley (thats in Staffordshire by the way ) Any try out more than welcome. Can meet halfway-ish for any potential trade.     IMHO the drum sound / beat reminds me of NIN - Closer, the vocal melody has touches of George Michael's - Faith and the guitar sound is that of Brian granny hair May.

    "If you want to buy a Streamer Stage I (never touched one) this is not for you and they are crap IMHO" This comment has cut me to the bone - I have worked hard all of my life to be able to buy myself what i thought to be half decent basses! I can now smell the coffee - the 3 Warwick Streamers i own are indeed crap! Oh well, goodluck with the sale/trade i bare no malice!
