… this is quite literally a board with pedals on 👍🏼.

I often think I could make my own but have fallen down the hole/trap of liking having bags come with the boards (hence I’ve gone down the Pedaltrain route).

Maybe one day, I have access to some nice old mahogany slabs and a 3D CNC router, mmm 🤔

    Full House!

That's basics covered. Next stop will be some more exotic top shelf material.

Full houses are always good, but I’d get annoyed with the silver top on the Bass Driver ha ha. It needs to be matchy matchy or not at all he he 😝🤪

  3. Hey all,

I recently purchased a lovely Aguilar Filter Twin V2 at a great price from Mick.

Pedal described accurately and deal went smoothly.

    Would happily deal with again.

    Peace,

    Jim.

  4. ... if only the sweetest bird in the forest sang it would be a very quiet place ...

and no, I didn't come up with that haha ☺️.

Must be great listening to him though. I went to see Janek Gwizdala and his trio in Manchester last year, he was obviously great, but Tom Cawley, the keys player was on a Rhodes and he was amazing! On a side note I once saw Avaisha Cohen play at the Crucible in Sheffield years ago, tbh I was more mesmerised by the young drummer he had with him, a Mark Guiliana!!

  5. ... well, I've been playing a couple of years now. A totally solo thing in contrast to bass (church and Motown band). I'm loving the 'no-pressure' element of it and have no time frame to work to just getting better slowly. I'm under no illusions that I'll get 'there' wherever that is, but I am enjoying the journey. And if I end up actually getting an actual Rhodes I'll have pedals aplenty to go with it ha ha 😁

  6. .. if you want to get inside you need to undo the 4 hex bolts and take off the control knob to reveal a nut and washer, and take that off also. Then the two nuts and washers off the foot switches, and finally the 4 nuts (well 3 in your case) off the back. The top should then come straight off with no problem.

I’ve got a couple of these units and have taken one apart at some point (no idea what for though ha ha).

  7. …. multifx are probably more practical, but I really do prefer separate analogue pedals! I’ve got a reasonable collection to now have a ‘multi fx’ situation where I choose between different types of compressor, drive, eq, modulation etc.

Only thing is each time I want to change something it takes a little bit longer than on a multifx ha ha 😆

  8. Hey all,

I’ve just bought Alain’s Creation Audio Labs Grizzly Bear pedal (actually SN#1)

All good and an easy transaction 👍🏼

    Recommended BCer all around.

    Peace.

  9. Luke FRC's suggestion:

21 "I can't stand your religious meetings. I'm fed up with your conferences and conventions.

22 I want nothing to do with your religion projects, your pretentious slogans and goals. I'm sick of your fund-raising schemes, your public relations and image making.

23 I've had all I can take of your noisy ego-music. When was the last time you sang to me?

24 Do you know what I want? I want justice - oceans of it. I want fairness - rivers of it. That's what I want. That's all I want.

The modern translation certainly hits home more that others!
