... the Xotic SP Compressor can get pretty squishy if you want it to also 👍.

... I've a BB" and use both a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 or Shuttlemax 12.2 through it. Out of the two I prefer the Streamliner, but they both perform well.

… I tend to favour single use/function pedals if I can get away with it myself due to this sort of thing.

Cioks also make a 4 way extender (https://cioks.com/products/cioks-4/) that can be powered off a DC7, however it can also be run off it’s own PSU or via it’s USB C input with an external battery/power pack. Switchable voltages for each isolated output in a very neat and small package. I use the Cioks DC7 and once had that under a Nano with no issues.

…. Nige answered a call for a Ditto Looper of sorts, he had two that I ended up buying. All clear, quick comms and pedals both arrived safely with good packaging 👍🏼. Recommend BCer on all counts, cheers.

… my take on a loop station …
… bass goes into the Ditto Stereo, if I want to run two basses the stereo input can take a second. That then goes to the board, if two basses used each into the Radial Bassbone Tone bone. Then from the board to the Ditto X2, then normal Ditto, Wiretap and finally the amp.
The idea was to be able to set the pedals up (on whatever board I’m using at the time) without a bass in hand, then create looping layers with the remaining 2 loopers and if anything interesting comes of it record using the Wiretap. With the looping board all powered from a normal TC Electronic PSU and a 4 way daisy chain 👍🏼.
Works a treat tbh thankfully.

… I’ve got a few compressors including the Studio Bass, I particularly like that one 👍🏼

… I specked a Robert Sorby Pro Edge for my work for chisel sharpening etc. Chose that over anything else as it leaves a flat grind. Will see how it works out I suppose 👍🏼

… could it be a faulty couple if strips on the desk? If the SV is fine at home in a similar scenario could it suggest something else is at fault?

… if it’s yours have you tried it back at home and is it working as normal?

… I used to live there as well many many moons ago. Was only a nipper so only have faint memories, nice ones though 🙂👍🏼

… you could probably ask the company Roqsolid to make you a custom one. I know they make custom cab covers etc

Yup, the preamps are separate from the power amps if I understand it correctly. You can blend the FET and Valve channel and still only go out of one of the speakons.

… I also have one of these. AFAIK you can’t, but they are very versatile. The two 600W sections are 375 @ 8 ohms and 600 @ 4 ohms. What I like about the amp, apart from the two channels and great eq options, is the fact you essentially have 2 amps in one box, so if you are only using 1 output, and it fails mid gig you could potentially swap to the other output and use it as a spare. Well in theory anyhow lol 👍🏼
sorry for the derail detail and GLWTS

Now sold thanks.
Hey all,
I bought this to try with a HX Stomp I used to own.
This plugs into the MIDI ports and acts as a MIDI connection over Bluetooth. So if you have an appropriate app on your tablet or phone (eg. Touch OSC) you can control the HX Stomp from your device.
I used it to add more ‘foot switches’ mainly, but if you’re handy with MIDI and Touch OSC or similar you can get your device (I used an i Phone mostly) to work in wondrous ways 👍🏼. It’s not been gigged, only played about with at home a bit.
I’m asking £23.00 posted (UK only) for it.
Peace.

Hey all,
I used to own a HX Stomp and bought this to use as an extra pair of footswitches for that.
I ended up buying a Bright Onion one while I waited for the IIRC 3 month wait lol (must have got lost somewhere), so I never got the opportunity to use it. I’ll presume it works as it is as new out of the box. I noticed a small paint blemish on one corner, from factory most likely.
I’m asking £12 posted (UK only) for this please.
Peace.

Hey all,
I used to own an HX Stomp and bought this to use with that. It was custom ordered by another BCer (who I bought it from) I think to use with a different pedal totally. Either way the Dual Momentary part works and IIRC the footswitches are soft touch normally closed. On a HX Stomp they would act as an extra couple of footswitches (no 4 and 5).
I also like the dual input instrument section, with volume control to match the level for differing outputs. This footswitch has an audible click when used. The instrument LED indicators are run via a 9V input, but the unit can work in passive with no power as well (but no LED indication).
It is as I bought it, I don’t think I ever actually used properly so it’s in very good condition.
A nice solution if you need it ha ha.I’m asking £35 posted to your door (UK only) thanks.

Hey all,
I used to own a HX Stomp and used this with it as an extra couple of footswitches.
This is slightly custom as the TRS input is on the side, but the orientation is the pedal is vertical. The top foot switch is set prouder than the bottom, giving a bit more clearance between the two. I also chose a grey enclosure with black labelling (as per pictures lol 😁)
I asked for this setup as I was using it in Pedaltrain boards, so the TRS cable could be routed cleanly. The foot switches themselves operate when you take your foot off them with no clicking (I think it’s called Normally open soft touch).
In very good condition (looks nearly new to me) with 3M Dual lock on the underside. I’ll include some new matching pieces to help out.
£22 posted to your door (UK only).
Peace.

… used to have a Stomp but traded it for an backup amp. One of the reasons was I thought in a few years who is going to want to buy ‘old tech’ when newer multi fx would be out then. So I’ve stuck with analogue stuff (mostly) and ended up with 6 boards, woops 😳😁😎. I may consolidate them onto a much larger one for home use and a smaller ‘I actually need that pedal’ gigging board. We’ll see 👍🏼.
