1. Just sold another BT 2 to Paul, all good, quick payment and an great comms, great BC'er
2. Please can this be removed as this has now been sold thanks, Peace.
3. Always try an old torx bit and see if you could, with a bit of encouragement, get it to bite then take off the nut and replace it with a new one?
4. Very nice jazz you have there sir!
5. Hi folks, saw this http://www.ebay.co.u...c40cb7ea&_uhb=1 and the bits and bobs on it don't match up with the normal Fender thing in '78, any comments? My first thoughts are that it has a very early 80's spec, but with an odd serial number but not too sure!
6. PM'd again
7. All packaged up and posting after work today, first full book I've read for a while. Loved the first half, really inspiring to hear the background to the albums that I really dig. Second half was really sad seeing the result of certain choices, but overall I liked the read and would recommend it to any Jacoite!!
8. I've had a 4 string version of this in the same natural finish. These are underated basses and the neck should be very nice as stated by seller.
9. Not too far off finishing it, hopefully by next week then I'll post it onto the next in line.
10.
I figured out this year that I actually have a phobia of churches. Isn't that weird? It's a good thing I'm an atheist otherwise I'd be missing out on a lot of gigs!
Hey there, I've always thought it helps to think of a church as a community of people rather than a physical building, if you keep that in mind you might be able to walk past one and not break out into a sweat !! However I digress... .....what I was responding to was an earlier post RE Christian groups that are out there, surfers, stamp collectors and coffee pot makers etc. My take is that a Christians faith should be a foundation in their life, so when you also meet people who like other things you like (err, like bass playing, air hockey or musical tastes etc ) you'll already onto a winner! Sleeps!
11. Yeah, could someone PM me if anything gets sorted for another one (I presume this has been and gone), Cheers
12.
for that you need some GOSPEL!
He's a bit good isn't he . ... anyhow the missus and I moved churches last year to a local New Frontiers church with a different style of worship band. Think cut back; a cajon or bodhran, guitar, bass and a few vocals. It has been more developed than that on occasion but it certainly makes me try to play more expressively as there is more space to do so
13. Seems like a sincere seller, but I know what you mean about unusual!
14. I've bought a bass off here with the neck off, I was surprised how small the package was when I went to pick it up from the depot! Least you would know the possibility of any major damage would be minimised that way.
15. please remove thanks
16. If I played bass as much as I find myself of BC these days I'd be, err, better!!
17. That is another rad bass, piece of history there
18. Sorry, don't want to part with it so please remove the post thanks.
19. I'm sure I've seen a picture of 'pro nails' vs 'no nails' classical guitarists having an old skool brawl in a book!! It was a bit of an issue back then I guess! When I played I preferred the softer tone from my pads rather than using nails. I guess when you look back at the history of the instrument things go in and out of favour.
