  1. Nope - you’ll get one master EQ and limit over the aux. All other EQ will be that of foh or nothing at all (eg flat), depending upon the routing.
  2. The amp on the the Shure is very good - as you'd hope for the money. Although, remember, depending what desk you are coming off, you may have some EQ options on the aux outs that you are using.
  3. Indeed - that was the one... absolutely soaked! Some good food offset it... a little! Was on at 4.
  4. Played at The Big Feastival (corrected as my phone decided to autocorrect) yesterday. Got absolutely p1ssed on. Going to be finding mud in my gear for at least the next 12 months...
  5. I assume we aren't looking at audiophile grade amps, just stuff that you want to use with your PA... so... heres a few suggestions for starters and all will get the job done Nice - Behringer P2, Rolls PM range, Millenium HPA In Ear (there's loads of rebranded version of this, the Thomann offering being just one, but the Studiospares one in red is pretty cool - got both the HPA and Studiospares one... and the Studiospares one looks slightly more pro). Big difference between the P2 and the rest, is one is body mounted, the other would need you to run a headphone extension. Nicer - Fischer Amps In-Ear Stick (effectively the thing that Behringer copied to create the P2 - they are near enough damn it the same thing, so you'd buy this if you don't like buying the Behringer brand) Nicest - Shure P9HW (effectively the P900 receiver but without the radio bits).
  6. They aren’t ever going to compete against your 8s dood. That’s why you are paying the money for the 64s. Tuning is a bit part of it and KZ just don’t compete in the same arena. The strongpoint is the headroom over something like a 215. For critical listening, they will never feature - but for monitoring, they do the job better than most for headroom alone. You have to start spending some serious money to get headroom and IEMs sounding right.
  7. They look great - and the colour change has made them look a lot more pro in my book. Isn't it odd how the choice of colours can completely transform the end product. Not that I thought the mk1 issues were bad... I just think that this colour scheme has lifted them a step. I think that sometimes, the choosing of the colour can be the making or breaking of an IEM... and I've seen some pretty naff artworks and combinations that are just simply, well... hideous. But each to their own I guess. I also really like the contrast of pearl/white cables with black shells and they look really nicely made to be fair. There doesn't seem to be any obvious bubbles and the transition to the soft tips looks really sharp also. Those soft tips still look like they are easy to keep free of wax. One of my biggest gripes with opaque shells is that you can't see through them to see if the tubes are free of wax. The soft tips give you the best of both worlds; the solid shell look and the ability to see to clean them! I like them. I'd quite like a pair
  8. Yeah, they don't look bad do they? Not that I'm fussed for the packaging... but they've clearly made an effort. Reports say kick in the bass, recessed mids and treble - so I'm guessing it's not going to be that great for critical listening, although it could be great for onstage with no EQ. It depends what happens to vocals I guess. Interesting... may have to see if I can get a listen on a pair. Where did you source these ones from?
  9. Dont you hate it when people do that? Do they not think to mention such things? Oh yeah, I saw a hihat clutch on the floor after our last gig. Thought it was a bit strange. Oh. It could have been yours I guess... couldn't it? Bandmates. Sometimes the biggest idiots on the planet. Next to the idiot that forgets their bass, that is.
  10. Lusted over this the year it came out. Gutted they never did it as a 5. I'm still gutted they never did this as a 5. My fave Stingray of all time. Good luck with the sale... and if I had money to burn, it would be hanging on my wall.
  11. I did contemplate it - but I needed to be sorted until I moved into lands of unknown where I know very few people - or locations of music shops!
  12. Not with your FRFR setup. You'd kill it.
  13. That's cos Rock n Roll killed you. It's time to fight back.
  14. FFS - not only are you killing Rock n Roll, you are systematically destroying it for everybody else. You complete b*tard. Interestingly enough, did they have any feedback about your rig post the gig - or were they a "don't care as long as I have a sound" types? Anyway, the other point you make is very valid. I sold my Fender Twin as my Kemper now takes care of that... and a load more extra that I never owned in the first place.
  15. I did arrive as a bit of a stressed out wreck. 😛 Gig was actually pretty decent in the end though!
  16. I sold it! Squier Affinity 5 String Jazz bass aka The Life Saver OK here's the backstory. I live in the Midlands, Lichfield to be precise... and I regularly gig with a band based in Loughborough. I agreed to do a gig with them down in Taunton - however, they had van driver availability issues, so I agreed to drive to Loughborough and pick up the van. All the way to Loughborough, something was playing on my mind... you know, that feeling you get that you've forgotten something but can't quite put your finger on it. You mentally check... cables, amp, strap etc... all check. Get to pick up the van and move my gear from my car into the van. Oh dayum. Where's my bass? Band leader says, no worries, I got a 4 string P bass you can use. I'm all, nah, it's OK, I got time to call back via home and pick up one of my basses. So I drive home. Dayum. Guess which idiot left his house keys in the car... back in Loughborough. Time was getting on and there was no way I could make it back to Loughborough, then back to Lichfield, then get to the gig in time... especially as I had all the PA in the van with me. Cue lots of phoning around trying to find somebody local that I can beg, steal, borrow a bass of. In short, couldn't get to anybody in time to pick up a bass and get to the gig... so drove to PMT, walked into the shop and asked for the cheapest jazz bass they had and take it straight to the till. I think I was in there all of 3 minutes. Got to the gig ok, a quick setup and the bass is decent to be fair. I would keep it but already have a low priced Yamaha that fulfils the role of a cheaper bass. So in short. I'm an idiot. This bass has been played for approximately 2 hours. I bet there's examples out there with more miles on it due to being on the shop floor. It's in as new condition, complete with the original cardboard box. My idiocy can be your gain. Anyway, dropped to £150.
  17. It does - but I haven't got a pedal case at the moment. I can get you measurements if you want to hit the Kemper forums though.
