1. Like this one http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/EBS-Exclusive-Leather-Strap/P4I Mines used and I would say is in a good usable condition. £17 as been stuck in a box for years and if I was going to use it again, I would have done by now! £23 if you want the Schaller strap lock ends (the hooks, not the bits that fit to the guitar) left on it!
 2. In good condition - was professional shortened at local seamstress so you can get it up to Mark King height.
 3. Unused. One was used to replace a broken strap lock, this remains unused. I no longer have the bass in question, so this is up for grabs. Complete unit - one bit for the strap, one bit for the instrument.
 4. thats cos spraying and polishing over it costs time and money.
 5. If you don't want to spend near (or just over) your top figure, don't try an Ernie Ball Jr volume pedal... they make everything else in that price range kinda feel... err... cack.
 6.
Unless the controls on your bass do something very different such as the filter EQ of the Wal or ACG, or they allow you to EQ each pickup separately, I really can't see the point as all they do is duplicate what you should already have available on your amp.
Thats great if you can actually get to your amp... or don't want to manipulate the EQ mid song without going over to your amp.
 7.
All my basses are active/passive.. they sound better active..
You do realise that if you run them passive, the pickups are going straight to the jack or running with horribly wrong pot values?
 8. La la la Dave Swift.
 9.
This is now sold pending final confirmation
The whole lot or just the 210? Only asking because I have stuff I'm selling and didn't want to scupper your sales as you were up first.
 10.
In rehearsals, right? That would be serious primadonna behaviour in front of an audience!
Yup. But you could make it your thing and gain notereity if you did it at gigs!
 11.
I've done it live with a pair of ridiculous guitarists, not the tea but I've sloped off into the corner to make a point to them, the quality of the performance has already gone to crap by then anyway.
Good old Matt and Chris
 12. Make a point of not playing. If nobody notices, then you are not just too loud, you are far too loud. If nobody notices that you are not playing, you should go out and fix yourself up a cuppa.
 13. If you haven't already, check out the monster IEM thread here - http://basschat.co.uk/topic/205633-in-ear-monitors-help-needed/ - to refine your tone either further. The question about running your setup in a monitoring solution for when you aren't running front of house is also covered.
 14.
It was relevant to Molan's arguement. As usual, every post on here is right and every post on here is wrong, depending on your opinion. As per previous, let's now keep this on topic!
Err... Isn't that how opinions work?
 15.
It was a one off and it finally resolved in the customers favour. I don't see the relevance.
Aye. Just reread the thread. I think that any luthier will have that one off problem customer too...
 16. Only joking. Not a chance!
 17.
There is a rather infamous Talkbass thread you should check out. Certainly did enough to make me overlook any instrument of theirs going forward!!
Now you mention it, I seem to recall.
 18.
I thought you stocked alleva coppolo??
I wasn't aware of any AC issues - PM me the details?
 19. Ouch - pricey. I would wager they are made especially for Yamaha by Gotoh (they look very similar) - but haven't found a current model with the same screw layout.
 20.
On their way to the cold and wet lowlands
Not too long from now then? Looking forward to hearing your appraisal of them and how they compare to what you are currently using as a benchmark.
 21.

The perceived watt unit. That was a great thread.
