3.
I cant even play a fretless so I cant see me gigging with it anytime soon! I am watching the front door like a hawk now, what is they say ..... a watched pot never boils Managed to get to the job and home with no calling card on the mat though so fingers crossed................
Ha ha. You knows it. So... what's next on the Thomann's order list? Lights? You want to jump on my order? I've currently got over 10k in my Thomann's shopping cart
 4.
As long as you never want to sell it! This parcel is going to turn up while I am out, all the neighbours are out too!
It's my danger bass - and it's about time I had another project isn't it? A finish can't give me as many nightmares as the last project surely...? (Famous last words!). Parcels - always the way... and then there is a monster trip to the depot when you miss them by 5 minutes.

 6.
I bet it is, only you can tell if its going to suit you dude let me know as soon as you set off to Bernies. Pepsi wait was shocking although she was freaked out by the staring!
Yeah, shall give you a call on the way down after I called in to see them. Shall give you the low down and my thoughts. Quite looking forward to it now! Picking up my white Hiscox too - will look ace with my bass. The great thing about knowing the staff at an establishment is that I could get served. Take the Parasite for example, for somebody who normally has no bar presence, I could get served straight away. I couldn't get over the likeness anyway - I don't know who was more freaked, her or me! Ha ha. I think as well as geek meet, we should add a regular pie night to our diaries! I'm thinking I should give my Yamaha some Sharpie art... what you reckon? I'll start a thread...
 7.
Just looked it is UPS good or bad?
You using the UPS trace link? My stuff has always come DHL. The oversized box thing is hilarious, my wireless unit came in a box just under a metre squared. Inside was a ton of packing with a tiny shoe box sixed box inside.
 8.
Toys are always for the win!-fact (got the -fact thing from another thread it is my new favourite!) Pies are also good but ex alike was wierd
You reckon I should make the purchase then?! If I spend big tomorrow, it's on the cards I think My bank account is quaking! My ex was never that sh1t getting a Pepsi.
 9. Pete - I saw you pouring gravy on your pie last night - that hand is going to be just great. We need more pie nights in our life... especially if it involves freaking out the girl who looks suspiciously like my ex-girlfriend! Anyway, give it some physio and some time and you'll be back to your normal self. If not, there's always lap bass... and your name is on a Yammy upright already. Question is, do I buy my new toys...?
 10.
Or should I just buy a Tonehammer 500 and shift the pre.
Yup.
 11. So when would you use a group over a DCA/VCA? I'm thinking for monitor mixes? Say over Aviom? Or an output to another room? And could somebody clarify my understaning of a Matrix mix?
 12. Could somebody explain these in more detail? They seem to be a group but without audio - more a master control for a group of channels?
 13.
Painted? With paint? Really? I dont believe you.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TF4sJHBIYEo And it's a piccolo... watch those string literally strip the finish before your very eyes....
 14.
Better send my painted board eub back then
Yes. Paint on a fretless WILL NOT WORK!!!
 15. 2 pack polyester paint will - Pedulla's do it on their fretless basses. As an idea, you can paint your design and then apply a clear poly finish over the top to give you the hard paint finish you need.
 16. Its good to know that painted fretboards have had years of letting myself, Larry Graham, Prince, Larry Graham down. It's all down to what you "paint" your fingerboard with... Ah yeah, painted fretboards also let a certain Jaco down too...
 17.

Also, you know if you double the thickness of your ASDL cable, you get double the broadband speed? Why pay for extra when you just can increase the thickness of the cable between your router and the wall socket. Similarly, have you noticed that when the air pressure is higher your wifi is quicker? (check your barometers for your best download periods)
