Must admit, when I had problems with one of my digital pedals, I gave up on it and sold it on eBay for peanuts - makes you wonder if there are people making a living buying up these pedals, getting them serviced and selling them on again... Of course you don't need a radius block for levelling - it just helps and gets the job done quicker. Use a radius block that matches the radius of your fretboard - I thought that would be common sense? A compound radius is a different kettle of fish - and a major headache. Your best bet is to send it to the plek machine because it makes no economic sense for a luthier to do it by hand. If you want to do it by hand, then you use different radiused blocks - starting at 12-14th fret. A fret rocker helps locate those high frets - but they will be pretty obvious if you string your instrument up with a low action. Why you'd want to have a compound radius on a bass makes no sense to me anyway. At the end of the day, there's different ways to do a job - best we agree to differ.

Just look at the T&Cs. Some threads that are requested to be pulled are, some aren't. Moderators choice I guess. Fair or not, not a non mod's choice.

The bass preset won't have any effect on the tuning speed - it setting the sweeteners, so your bass can be as much in tune with itself as possible.

Yes. Feedback could be triggered from FOH, other non iem monitors and in cases where singers arent thinking where they are pointing the mic or covering the mic with their hand. If feedback on a channel exists and you are sending a signal to your ears via an aux... be careful!

Careful those guys running a wired IEM setup - you really need a limiter in there or otherwise at the first sign of feedback you'll be having very hurty ears! Anybody wondering about IEMs, its worth investing properly. I love em! PS essex, you have a PM.

X32 is indeed stunning. I've been doing some hefty research on digital desks before dropping the cash... The Presonus did have the market sewn up at that price point... but the X32 really has blitzed it. It's amusing - on the Presonus forums, the moderators have been working hard removing all the conversations featuring the X32. I think the X32 has them knackered - they best have something to fight back with... and quick. They could do with their 24 channel desk moving to 32 channels, with all the firewire recording capability - with a cheap digital snake... I suspect they haven't. Digital desks have really had a shake up in the last year. The X32 has knackered Presonus. The GLD-80 has pretty much knackered everything else. Now is the time to pick up those LS9s...
