  1. Its a GB Spitfire - www.gbguitars.co.uk It's the rotary selector switch for the sound to light LED system.
  2. I'd challenge that one. The word spastic still exists - and is the correct medical terminology - although the rebranding of the charity was a stroke of genius in terms of removing the negative connotations associated with the term.
  3. Talking of Warren Z, I guess Suzie Lightning can't be in Yugoslavia either.
  4. Werewolves of London - there is no Lee Ho Fooks anymore... although you could argue that the lyrics are still valid as it's all in the past tense.
  5. Back to the OP - whereas the twin towers were the most famous of the trade centres, there was back then - and today, more than two WTCs, in NYC.
  6. You're certainly right there. A Nissan Juke?
  7. I guess this one.
  8. Maybe - and I guess your request for compensation may not go down too well.
  9. Now think about going on tour. Roadies want everything in a road case, ready to go - for quick setup and pack down. Pretty much every touring band (OK maybe not during the pandemic) are still very much using the 19" rack format - even more so when small heads are involved. You'll see big heads either removed from a flight case or put on stage still in a flight case... but even the small amps are still rack mounted - for logistics ease.
  10. Columbia still doing OK getting it's shipments in across the borders. Business as usual. Maybe we need to get in contact with the cartel and see if they would be interested in a side hustle of delivering basses...? Or have I been watching too much of Ozark?
  11. It does seem the sensible option doesn't it?
  12. Good old Windows.
  13. It really p1sses me off that you have to pay insurance for courier to do their job properly. Would you get a tradesman in and be presented with the option of "do you want us to build this wall... and do you want to pay extra to insure... just incase we put a shovel through your window and accidentally drive into your house?" It's ludicrous isn't it?
  14. Something like some AM13R carpet will probably make for a good aftermarket refur
  15. If it's just a case of fuzz, a "bobble off" or razor blade may do you. You may have to live with the bare wood bits unless you want to go through the process of stripping it.
  16. Have you got any pics of the damage?
  17. Have you ever watched Ghostbusters?
  18. You find they probably will - but you still have to pay the postage.
  19. I would wager it's an off the shelf battery - if the Backbeat guys have introduced a custom battery from China, that's a terrible business decision as your company and your design is all dependent upon the survival of the supplier company. I don't know why Backbeat couldn't give you the specs.
  20. Whats the battery? I would wager its something readily available, so source your own... get the board, source your own battery, job done.
  21. Guitarists tend to have a muting tuner in their chain.
  22. (and the amount of time I go into the kitchen, that's a lot of practice)
  23. Playing spoons. That's where its at. Every time I go into the kitchen... quick practice.
  24. Crazy isn't it? My most successful band was a unit of people all working towards a common goal. Hence we had a packed diary, had many gigs abroad - and got to experience all the high points without too many of the low points. My current band want what my other band want - but expect me to magic it out of a hat for them. Considering we have been in a number of lockdowns, we could have worked on material, got loads of promotional packs built... but there's always the enthusiasm - but never the action. Talking is easier than doing. The funny thing is, I started dong online collaborations with people that I knew would get stuff done... and they did. And then of course, the band all got 4rsey with me. So I said fine, lets get a track together then... and here we are, still waiting. That was 9 months a go now. Some people will always lack drive... but want it all.
  25. Me being in a band where only I made the effort, as good as the band is musician wise, its taken lockdown to realise how emotionally draining it all is. Probably a big factor in me not doing much too. Most musicians are inherently lazy, don't live in the real world - and thinks the world owes them a living. Minimum input, maximise take.
