1. If you are looking for cheap Peavey...................... go to amps and cabs for sale and type in `peavey`........................ one guy has a pair of peavey 15 cabs for £80 and in another ad someone has a TNT130 complete for £75......................................

good luck!!

2. I hope this does not confuse things too much......................... both of my trb`s are early versions, which had only 2 band eq.................. so!.............on my TRB6P I managed to get both GB(bernie goodfellow )p/ups and his earlier series 3 band eq.........I should ad this was done a long time ago(10 years approx) and bernie would not do this now for very sound commercial reasons........................BUT... I love it..........

Then,on my TRB5P,original p/ups but have 3 band Aguilar pre amp installed (by Bernie!)...... a real improvement.........

The TRB`s (especially the early one`s) had a very high build quality and really compare against boutique basses............. it was the 2 band eq which I felt needed a mid control was the only reason I felt tampering with such a terrific instrument.

However,if and when I have enough money,I would get a GB bass, custom 6 string.... I have recently got a GB spitfire 5 and am totally blown away by it............ fantastic eq!!!

3. Handcrafted in japan circa 1993.Maple/mahogany through neck,piezo p/ups in bridge,ebony finger board,34 inch scale.Original p/ups.
I have subsequently had a 3 band aguilar eq installed by bernie goodfellow. So knobs are vol/pan/treb/mid/bass and switch activates piezo p/ups.In used but very good condition.Usual `dings` one would find on gigged bass of almost twenty years old.Worst of which are around jack socket as in pic .In the final pic, jack circled shows chip,.............other circled area is just reflected lights in room !.........Plays and sounds incredible-very fast low action. As others will testify ,these are incredibly well made basses which stand up against many boutique basses. Also hard to find nowadays.
As a starter price I`m putting a tag of £[s]795,[/s]£[s]745[/s] .Was [s]£725[/s] ,was [s]£695,[/s],now it`s down to £675

4. Usual stuff......I`d like to say vintage ,but `old gear` probably does it justice....`Blinkin` Heavy........ 150 WATT USA made monster combo.........usual crackly noisy pots...could do with a service...... however £55,no!! £49,no!!now £45......... takes it away..... could possibly deliver for nailed on buyer...... eg..between brighton & sw london(or home counties)

I don't know what your budget is , but I've yet to hear a 210 combo of any other brand , out perform the Eden Metro 210 .
2nd hand price - shop around , and it is bloody heavy .

6. probably a silly idea but............................ try regular speaker out(eg not bridging it) for each side ,in a solo mode and see if maybe you can narrow that element out of it.
to see if both amp channels work independantly one at a time.................
I`ve never felt comfortable bridging amps........ but that`s just me!!!!!

hope this helps

good luck
