1.
Why's it upside down in your rack?
The simple reason is laziness.I took it out of working rack into another for safe keeping. Then I saw it was wrong way round but the rack was also underneath a whole lot of other things. At that time it was easier to take pic in situ just to confirm I do actually own one ........................ no other technical reason was used in the making of this reply!!
2. My 1968 P bass fretless. One of the first batch of production line fretless`s.It used to be Alan Spenners(greaseband/kokomo etc).I got it in 1973!! and had it until about 7 years or so ago when I traded it in for silly money against a mother keyboard in Demark Street .................... doh!! For many years it was my sole gigging bass, but a dip into the waters of musicman said that I should let it go. I`d still love to be able to reach for it and play it ..................
3.
I've noticed that the output limit light on my amp lights up quite a lot on my amp, this is with the EQ set fairly flat with a touch of added treble and bass and the gain at 12 o'clock and master usually on about 11-12 o'clock. Is this something bad?
You could try putting your master volume control at a higher level thus allowing you to back off a bit on your input gain.On my Eden amps I generally have the masters on about 3 o`clock and tweak the input gain accordingly. Hope this helps!
4. all of my stuff are the USA versions and they have been great sounding and reliable. Not sure or confident about nemesis or other current `china made` examples .........................................................
5. I`m just about to throw away complete sets of used strings from my sixer ............................... are these of any use to anyone or should i put them in the bin?
6.
100% agree. That's why I've been so impressed with the Eden stuff, out of the box it sounds great (to my ears) straightaway with very minimal tweaking, if at all.
+1 ...................... the `minimal tweaking` is what sold me my first eden amp head at the bass centre. So my core sound was never far away!!!! .......................... loved their other products ever since ............................ I don`t think any of my stuff is later `china made` stuff!!!
7. sorry to elbow in here but does any one have a list/suggestions for jam nights in sussex (brighton preferably!)
8. This is an old school bit of kit.It is one rack unit high and in pretty good nick.Included is the digitech footswitch. With this you can change patch (during non playing passage) by putting foot on switch and playing a certain note which the machine will sample and understand this as a patch change. Also you have midi as well or manual patch changes.Does pitch shift and harmonies ,also can play modally .Have a look at manual to see what this baby does. Also has built in digital tuner as well. ftp://ftp.digitech.com/pub/PDFs/Discontin...monyMachine.pdf I will not do shipping .However as with other ads I have placed, I can drop item off anywhere in between brighton and wandsworth ,london. Also from time to time I get around home counties as well eg,herts, bucks, berks ,hants and occasionally further. This part of offer is only for a nailed on cash buyer and not for the curious to try out a bit of bass gear. On the other hand you could come down here and try it and decide. sorry about pics . my pic has rack upside down but included is `library`pic Now that I`ve got that out of the way,I did want £85,but now down to £75.................. .................
9. This is the model previous to the 115 XLT.It is however a 1 X 15 cab with adjustable horn.USA made.In very good condition. And it is suprisingly very light to carry. I will not do shipping .However as with other ads I have placed, I can drop cab off anywhere in between brighton and wandsworth ,london. Also from time to time I get around home counties as well eg,herts, bucks, berks ,hants and occasionally further. This part of the offer is only for a nailed on cash buyer and not for the curious to try out a bass cab.Now that I`ve got that out of the way,I did want £275,then £255 ,then £245,then £235,then £225,.then £215.now down to £205................ or part trade for Eden WP100 pre amp .................or part ex against MM SR5. Also to be considered for inclusion to this part ex is the 4 ohm Eden 2 X 12 XLT also on sale at £330 on other thread!
10. these are both non functioning 10 inch trace speakers (16 ohm, each) free if they are of any use to any one (possible re-cone?)........................ otherwise destined for an early delivery to the tip.
11. I`ve tried to get a rack ear kit for my Eden WT 500 (which is the same for the WT 600/800 models). The eden dealers in uk who officially sell eden gear do not always do their spares. The few who do have promised me since feb of 2010 to get some for me ,but no one has actually managed this task.Anyone here got suggestions or should I try and order direct from USA ?
12. I have the korg dtr 2000 ..................... I can see it clearly in poor lighting and it tracks accurately, right down to low B. pricey but worth it ........... hope that helps!!!
13.
Bump again, as no one is biting is the price too high or is it just naff?
I know these are not the most popular brand, but that is still a reasonble price for a working example. good luck with your sale!!!
14. I`ve seen , heard and played this bass .................... It`s an absolute beauty!!!
15. I`ve had a chance to play and hear it as well ........................ loads of classy bass for your money!!
16. Maybe I`m not understanding your situation correctly but as far as I know and according to Eden`s manual the WT 500/600/800 heads only go down to 4 ohms per side.Hopefully I`d like to think this will help, and not complicate things for you ( sticking my oar in!) regards
17. These basses are great ....................................... if you have not considered one of these.......................................always worth a look!!!
18.
Made in Korea..... assembled in SLO USA. Take a leaf out of 'The Jerk'....... sh*t and shinola!! They're good......but they're not a 'Ray.
Ah yes! but they do have a special purpose!
19.
This is great advice!! Yeah! I've been banging my head against the wall about having a Hartke combo, but the pennies are not there. I was looking at a Hartke hydrive 210c with 2 x 150 watt 10 inch speakers, but I'm looking at £560. I did have a Laney many years ago and got some great use out of it. I've been looking at a LANEY RB7 300-WATT 2 x 10-INCH RICHTER BASS GUITAR COMBO AMPLIFIER priced at £354 from Dolphin music...Looks good. Lozz196, Cheers for the offer mate, but I'm gonna go new on this one....The Marshall MB4210 does appeal to me though, I played one at a charity gig not long ago and the sound was very sweet and powerful. I have got a Behringer head in the attic, maybe I could add a Hartke 15 inch speaker cab??? Possibilities all round Cheers
my advice is never ....never ................. behringer head in the attic ............its always best to deal with things!!!! I`ll get me coat!
20.
Price drop to £80 ono. Come on fellas this is a bargain - can be bridged at 2 Ohms too ! this is collection from London only
Anyone who wants a reliable, very loud, versatile amp ............. this is it !!! used to be mine(I think) ........ usual hefty build from peavey .................. also seller is a dream to deal with!!! Go and get it!!!
21. I`ve used some of their strings in the past ......................... quite reasonable .......... http://www.blackdogmusic.co.uk/bass-strings-16-c.asp
22.
Are you sure you can't ship it?
thats a no ................ sorry about that
