As in my other ad on this forum I can`t justify having all this bass gear for the limited amount of gigging that I now do.The cab is in good comdition .No rips or dents .everything works fine. I will not do shipping .However as with other ads I have placed, I can drop cab off anywhere in between brighton and wandsworth ,london. Also from time to time I get around home counties as well eg,herts, bucks, berks ,hants and occasionally further. This offer is only for a nailed on cash buyer and not for the curious to try out a bass cab.Now that I`ve got that out of the way,I`d like £295 for the cab.
Gorgeous looking cab, Jon! As a matter of interest, what does it sound like compared to a 115 or 410?
To my ears ................. a much warmer ,fatter sound but without losing the usual well articulated definition of edens. also much lighter than the 4 X 10 xlt PHEW!!!

Finally made a decision to move this cab on as I cannot justify all the gear I have.I`ve only gigged this 5 times in the last two years.Previous owner also used it sparingly. In very good condition. For more details about this cab have a look here http://www.eden-electronics.com/products/c...div/d212xlt.asp I will not do shipping .However as with other ads I have placed, I can drop cab off anywhere in between brighton and wandsworth ,london. Also from time to time I get around home counties as well eg,herts, bucks, berks ,hants and occasionally further. This offer is only for a nailed on cash buyer and not for the curious to try out a bass cab.Now that I`ve got that out of the way,I wanted £350 for the cab. Then £330, now down to £295................. or trade for Eden WP100 pre amp .................

I gigged frequently during early 1990`s using Bose 302 bin with two 802 Bose cabs with a Bose eq controller.A yamaha PB1 pre amp and 1kw power amps ...................... blimey ,it didn`t half sound good.A very hi-fi sound but loads of power.

Love the stuff .. as you can see.

The eden `metro` combos are great ,if you can get one second hand, and if you can go the extra quids.Plenty of power, and a truly versatile eq range.Quality gear!!Also ,you can squeeze 500 watts with an add on cab!!As you can see I have one,so am speaking from experience. good luck!
This is a system controller for Celestion SR1/SR3 speakers. Information on it's use is available via this link. Dave
Thanks for info link. Crossover is at 200 hz and not 180hz as stated earlier. Although its `celestion`it functions fine with any other speakers as ultimately it`s a crossover.I used to use the` Bose `controller with an earlier incarnation of a bi-amp bass rig and it sounded rather good.Which ,in a sense, you`d expect to be the case as PA systems sound very hi-fi when bi amplified, when carrying the bass player`s sound out front. As mentioned earlier in thread , it would be a cheap way of trying out bi amped bass sound.
Why not just have a 'Feelers' section? Then nobody would look in there, apart from people just after a grope. Garry
The problem with that is , too many gropes make you wine ..................
I have an eden metro combo for sale, 750w at 4 ohm, all you could ever want in tone and volume, I used it in a power rock trio and it was well loud enough. give me a shout if your interested. Rob
+1 for eden metro combo if you can stretch to the price.Best combo for size, power,eq I`ve bever used !!Alone it runs through it`s own 2 X 10 horn at 8 ohms ................ so always the opportunity to add on other cabs if you need to.A good used one brings the price down to a more reasonable level. good luck

for what its worth ............... your budget might get a used Eden metro combo, however I realise you want to get sorted quickly and they don`t pop up that often .....the reason generally is that once you get one you hold onto them ...........they are remarkable.....loads of power, great eq for any sound you want............crisp and clear as you like without losing bottom end fatness and NO mud.I can`t praise them enough.Best combo I`ve ever had or heard. They are crazy loads of money !!! Try one if you can ,even as a reference point for later purchases. hope this helps regards

I wonder if any other mm owners have come across this weird prob. When you push a string downward onto a pick up pole piece it gives the customary `thump` when amplified. However when you make contact between the `G`string and the rear pole piece on my SR5 pick up there is a shrill squeal then the whole bass goes silent for about a second, after which the volume fades back in over a 2 to 3 second period.Obviously this is not part of my usual technique but there are times when you`re playing a very loud, stoaccato piece when this may accidentally occur.I`ve sent this also to mm`s tech dept ,but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this.I could lower the height of pick up but I`m happy where it currently is.I could put a bit of physical non-coductive shielding on pole piece but I`d rather just get rid of problem altogether. Is this a pick up problem or an active eq problem. Anyone else experience this? signed perturbed but not yet suicidal.
thanks for comments ...................... I love the colour and the lovely birds eye figuring which also runs full length on back of neck. However did not realise that the bass was a bit rarer than others (body colour and white pups ...................... all original,I`ve had this from about 1994)
Whoops! just remembered, I changed original white pickguard to pearl !!
