Peavey gear
Peavey gear is vastly underrated and for the money there is little that can beat it. As has been noted some of the TX/TVX cabs are on the heavy side compared to more modern cabs but if you are young and injury free, you can take a manual handling course with the money you save buying Peavey gear. I should qualify this by stating that I have owned a variety of Peavey gear over the years (inc' all of the OP suggestions with the exception of the newer Nitro/Firebass stuff) and tbh you'd be hard pushed to justify spending x4 the cash on 'better' stuff... saying that when you have the means, then you just do!
Totally agree with all of above and have been a peavey user myself in the past. Also to be considered,If they come up for sale, rack megabass head or T Maxx head. All will do a fine job for relatively little money. And always seem to be very reliable. Hope this helps.

An old SM400 with bi-amp and you can pick them up for reasonable money. You have 200watts per side into 4 ohms...so a bit low-powered maybe these days.. SM500 is 250 watt per side. Eden do the same as well..not sure of the models... or the pre-amp route, a DB680 with x-over outs into any stereo power amp That way you can control the freqs into which cab..upto a point from the amp..and also the power output..
Eden models WT600 and WT800 have in built variable crossover and stereo power amp sections.I use these features on my rig ,flipping in between full range and bi-amp,which normally gets the sound i want. Older peavey megabass rack heads had these facilities as well and can be picked for quite reasonable money.
3. Just a thought for some people who have active basses.I thought I had developed a new buzzing fault on low notes, thought I had speaker problems ............................. turns out it was a battery about to expire!two new batteries later and it sounds as lovely as it ever did.
4. For what it`s worth, this is a hell of a rig and for a very good price.I can only imagine the location is a bit far for some. This eden stuff is SO good. Good luck with sale!
5. Once again................ great cab, great bloke and a great price.
6. I heard the nemesis head running into one of my eden cabs and it sounded pretty darn good.Nik is a joy to deal with, so all you potential buyers can purchase with confidence.Prices are ultra reasonable!!!
7. Flight case for sale. Its arranged currently for shallow lid part to be the tray underneath.Pics will show what I mean.It needs re-foaming/sponge lining inside. Its also as in pics a bit tatty. And there`s some small apertures cut out as in pics.Could suit a small combo or just cable/pedal carrier thingy! Dimensions internally, roughly 40cm X 46 cm and about 56cm high. Anyway If someone wants it ,it`s theirs for princeley sum of £10. Could possibly drop this off to serious buyer! With this in mind .......................... Brighton area or sw london is likeley to be the best bet!(or maybe in between, en route ,as I commute daily between both)
8. great bargain for someone!

11. Great basses. If you fancy a sixer ,these are brilliant basses. Good luck with the sale.
12. as you can see I`m a big fan of Yammy TRB`S. I can really vouch for their all round good value ,so if anyone fancies this I`d say it `s well worth a look. Good luck with the sale!
13. whoever ends up with this will not regret it!great basses ................ and for a very good price! Anyone who is thinking of going the `sixer` route should really consider this. good luck with sale (my fave yammy colour too!)
14. I saw him at the last brighton bass day at the `portland`.An absolutely monster player,I picked up loads of chops and tips from that!Always worth a listen wherever he`s playing. If you have not heard of him check him out .............. you really will not be disappointed!

19.
Good Shout...love both albums I'd like to nominate 'Brad Lang' for the excellent bass on 'Lexicon Of Love' by ABC and the brilliant late-great 'Alan Spenner' who I just found out played on ABC's 'Beauty Stab'. Loved his work with Roxy Music also
just another shout for alan spenner who also did greaseband/joe cocker but also the fantastic band `kokomo`
20. I can`t believe you`re selling that very fine sounding cab ..................... the one that I heard at your place was fantastic! Now I got to check my GAS`o`meter as there is a distinct needle flicker!
