My bass for sale, as new condition, only been used for practice a few times... taken straight from GAK- Epiphone Thunderbird Gothic Bass The Epiphone Goth Thunderbird IV Bass guitar has great looks, action and tone. Classic Thunderbird lines are executed with a mahogany body and 34"-scale hard maple neck with a rosewood fretboard and Gothic inlay at the 12th fret. The pickguard is dressed up with a Celtic cross while the black-on-black hardware and satin black finish give it a decidedly dark demeanor. Two Thunderbird Plus pickups provide appropriate growl. Features: Mahogany body 34"-scale hard maple neck Rosewood fretboard 1-1/2" nut width Gothic inlay at the 12th fret Celtic cross on pickguard Black hardware 2 Thunderbird Plus pickups £180 ono 20 quid saving on new straight away!

not that much known about it, told by a member that its a 64... but, either way.. it's a lovely bass to both look at and play. Action is fantastic, playability is A1. £300 as a "must have a price rule" but offers please. Guitar is in Bridport Dorset, DT6 5AF, Will post but obviously wil need to be discussed

THanks jack that was really helpful, I also wondered about the selector switch! but, the action is really quite low, playability is certainly not an issue with it at all! It's a pleasure! When my friend got it, it was a tatty sunburst, he emailed pictures of it to a hofner website which I have forgotten the name of and he was told it was supposed to be blonde, he is a guitar tech with some pretty good skills so took upon him self to take it back to blonde. Either way, it's a lovely guitar... Wouldn't want to part with it for peanuts, so I'm glad it has some value. If truth be told I would love to keep it as an almost decorative piece in my house but definately time for some new gear and it's my only asset at the moment so thanks again chaps, I shall pop up a for sale thread and see what happens

Thanks for the replies! Any more help would brilliant...

1958 (We believe) hofner senator semi acoustic.. flame maple, all original parts other than an earth wire replacement, 1345 serial number on the sticker inside.. pics below or condition etc (i apologise for the rubbish attempt of a photo of the sticker... camera was having none of it) Basically just wondering what its value would be? Was given it by guitarist in my band to use, I love it lots but now I need to get a bigger rig and this isn't part of it Want to put it in the for sale section, but I know part of the rules is a price.... any help would be most appreciated thank you in advance

Thanks for all the welcomes I just purchased my new steed... An epiphone thunderbird 'gothic' online, looking forward to playing it after the let down on the 6 strings versitilty still after some cheap cabs and a head. Which section would be best on this forum for s valuation on the hofner? May well need to sell it to buy gig-able gear... Any help would be greatly appreciated
Everything works fine, Someone has painted the front pannel in Black but it has had a decent carpeting job to match Peaveys later TX carpeted cabs. The rubber gromit is missing from where the power lead enters the rear of the amp, (This is a common fault) Used this with an 8ohm Hartke 115 & 4ohm Peavey 215 cab, Both sounded great. Don't use it anymore, Stored as a backup £65. Justin
Any chance of posting dude?
