So this is beautiful - I've never had this variety of p-bass/t-bass before and this sold me on it so much I ended up buying an original 68 version. So this is up for sale sadly as I don't need both and I need the space. In as-new (as in, how it left the factory) condition, with all case candy and ashtrays etc, and of course the certificate and original white limited edition hard case. 3.8kg in weight and sounds and plays superb. I don't think you'll find a better one in terms of looks, playability and sound. Only for sale this weekend as otherwise it's off to a shop with (almost) everything else I own next week.

Bought from here as a bit of a basket case (had been converted into a 'regular' P with P-scratchplate, P-pickup and had the string through holes filled in and a standard bridge installed). I sent it to Angela Arnott (guitar angel) who did (as usual) a stellar job on restoring it and refinishing it in nitro candy apple red. I've had this for a while and used it for recording but I need to make space so I'm basically selling it at a loss given what I spent on having it restored. The neck (including finish and decal), tuners, nut and neck plate are all original, everything else is repro. It's in good condition, with just a few minor natural relicing dings and one small scratch on the back. It weighs 4.6kg and comes with a basic aftermarket tweed case which is in good condition. Only for sale for this weekend as it's going to go to a shop with everything else next week.

I'm sure you've found these already but some good discussions here: https://www.basschat.co.uk/topic/489577-does-a-low-b-really-work-on-sub-34”-scales/ And here https://www.talkbass.com/threads/low-b-on-30-scale.1514776/ Seems like type and gauge of string is a big factor. Happy to restring this with a buyer's choice of strings (within reason, no gold-plated stuff). I'll actually have a look in my string box today and see if I have a low B that would fit as an experiment.

Custom made for me a few years back, this is a superb neck through Les Paul version of a Bass 6, 30" scale, wenge neck and body, flame maple top under a nitro gold top. As it wears, that flame will reveal itself and it will look even more incredible. Seymour Duncan p90 stacked humbucker with coil tap on the volume control (pull up). Sounds immense - but it is heavy. 5kg...it used to be heavier if you can believe that! It went back to John for some additional weight relief (hence the different grained sections on the back, this is where the weight relief happened and then John made wooden covers to fill the weight relief pockets). Definitely more of a studio than stage instrument unless you have stronger shoulders than me. Some very minor marks but overall in very good condition. I love this thing but since getting an even more special bass 6 (EB2 converted to EB6...) I just don't use this enough and I need the space. Comes with old but high quality padded gig bag. Can be collected or can be posted at cost.

Very basic short scale hard case, no idea on manufacturer. Good condition, no nasty smells (non-smoking house). Seems to have Santa written on the side? Maybe Carlos' pen ran out of ink. Postage at cost (probably £10-15?) but can be collected from High Wycombe. Bass not included, just pictured for scale (and yes, I know about the missing string).

Homemade (not by me, it'd be cardboard and polyfilla if so) bass case from (I estimate) the 1970s. Only one latch works but it's decent enough wood and could easily be restored. Quite heavy as you would expect though. Seems too good to chop up into firewood. Plus, you know, particulates and that. Long scale, came with a P-bass which fitted perfectly. As the song goes, if you want it, come and get it. From High Wycombe. Ignore the £1 above, it doesn't let you put £0.

Having originally ordered 3 of these a few years ago (one has already been sold) I find that I am only really using one and need to pay for something else so this is up for sale! Full spec is below, this was a custom order as at the time you could only get a 4 string Mr Tee. It has been professionally refinished and reliced in ocean turquoise metallic nitro (as I got a bit bored with the flame maple) by a very well known refinisher who does a lot for some big names... It is in very very good condition, it hasn't really been played very much TBH. Comes with original soft case, very high quality leather strap (unused), all paperwork and an unworn (size S) Marusczyk t-shirt! Can be collected from High Wycombe or Marylebone station or I can post at cost, I have plenty of shipping cartons. I will add the weight later on but it's not heavy 🙂 ->3.7kg Type Righthand Number of Strings 5-String Scale Length Short Scale 30" Number of Frets 20 Frets Body Construction Solidbody Body Wood Mahogany Top Wood Flamed Maple Color Type Natural Body Binding Without Binding Pickguard 3ply Cream Neck Wood Flamed Maple Neck Finish Gloss Neck Profile Modern C Nut Width 40mm Carbon Rods No Fingerboard Wood Ebony Fretted / Fretless Fretted Side Dots Side Dots Fingerboard Inlays Without Inlay Fingerboard Binding Cream Fingerboard Radius 14'' Headstock Type Flamed Maple Pickup Combination Single Coil (SSC) Manufacturer Bassculture Electronics Type Passive volume, tone Bridge Spacing 19mm

Very good condition, some minor marks on the outside, interior near mint. No smells or stains, non-smoking household. Fits JC bass, Rivoli and Gibson EB2. Had my EB2 in it but I found an original case so now surplus to requirements. Can be collected from high Wycombe or can be posted at cost, I have proper shipping cartons.
