  1. Beautiful bass, sounds and plays brilliantly. But too many instruments and not enough space! Has minor playwear but generally in very good condition. Comes with original gigbag. Pickup greatly preferred but could also meet within reasonable distance. Postage in the UK is also an option, I have proper shipping cartons. 3.7kg Now £1350
  2. For sale, spares/repairs only. Powers on but has purple ring of death light which means something is wrong! That's the limit of my knowledge on it though...I bought it like this with the intention of removing the amp and turning it into a spare 1x12 can but I clearly haven't got round to it and it's just taking up valuable space. Collection only from high Wycombe, may be able to meet if not too far away. Happy to package it up if you want to arrange a courier though. To clarify though, it ain't working!
  3. Very prompt payment and great comms, highly recommended! Thanks again Ash
  4. Brilliant short scale acoustic bass, in excellent condition and with its original very high quality case. Don't see many of these around but they are very well made instruments. Only selling due to an incoming Brook acoustic bass. Currently strung with bronze strings for that full Mike Mills REM unplugged sound! Surprisingly loud and great to have around the house for practising whenever the mood takes you. Can be shipped at cost in a proper shipping carton, otherwise collection from high Wycombe or possibly central London.
  5. One last price drop to £1800 before it goes to a shop or gets traded in
  6. Bought a pedalboard from Patrick which was exactly as described if not better, was hand delivered very promptly and was a superb transaction all round. Thanks a lot!
  7. Just bought a bass from Ash, very prompt postage and great comms throughout, very pleased with the bass too! Cheers
  8. Open to offers before it goes to a shop, try me, you never know! Especially if you're willing to come and get it
  9. Very recently purchased from on here but sadly I've seen something else I want and I don't need multiple precision basses... Here's the original advert with all the details, I've taken a load of new pics which are attached. Looking for £2050 plus postage which is exactly what I paid for it. Not really looking for trades but never say never, would have to be vintage and/or short scale though. Now £1800, last drop before it gets traded in or goes to a shop
  10. Now for sale on here, only went on ebay as there was an offer on and it was quicker to do it there. Only reason that chip is not on the pics is that I didn't even notice it!
  11. Selling this for what I paid for it on here, which frankly I think was a bargain, for sale elsewhere for a lot more. I need the space! I was going to defret this (again, this is the second time I've owned it and I defretted it then, subsequently it was refretted :-)) but I never got round to it as it does sound so good in its current form but I just have too many instruments now and I'm mainly playing short scale now. Price includes UK mainland shipping, or can be collected in person from high Wycombe or central London for a discount. Designed by Ned Steinberger in conjunction with Bolin guitars and built by hand in Boise Idaho. 35" scale. Single piezo pickup which sounds incredible, very flexible and not at all over trebly like many piezos, this thing can pretty much do it all! Beautiful flame maple top and ebony fretboard, very high quality all round. And incredibly light! Only 3.3kg. Excellent condition, some minor dings on the back. Comes with original hard case. Currently strung E-C (all of my fives are) but I will happily restring it B-G for the new owner if they wish.
  12. Very cool, great playing and great sounding Musicmaster Bass - I just have too many basses now and need to raise some funds! Lovely neck on this, shaped by the legendary Herb Gastelum according to the stamp on the neck. All original to the best of my knowledge. 3.5kg according to my bathroom scales. A few dings here and there, as per the pics, and the scratchplate has minor cracks in a couple of places but generally in good condition for its age. No case I'm afraid but will be well packed for shipping. UK mainland shipping only, included in the price, with a decent courier! Or can be collected from high Wycombe or central London. Now £1250 before it goes to a shop
  13. Bought a Tech 21 pedal off Clarky, very quick postage and I'm very pleased with it.
  14. Beautiful 1974 Rickenbacker 4000 bass guitar with brand new silver (vintage style) Rickenbacker bass case. Don't see many 4000s around and certainly not in this colour. Very good condition and sounds amazing. Just a few minor dents and swirls, mainly on the back. Wood has some subtle figuring too in places. Collection from High Wycombe or London greatly preferred but can post at cost, using UPS.
  15. Thanks, I love what Ric5 does but mine is actually a 5 string neck so proper string spacing. This is a factory made Rick 5 string, just altered to look better 🙂
  16. Converted my 4003s5 into a 4000s5 (or probably a 4000/5 given the 4000 was always unbound?) and am very happy with the result. Still has the very effective and great sounding (but stupid looking) Dorito pickup but now looks a lot cooler. Also I like resting my hand on a pickup cover. Just posting this in case anyone has been put off the new 5 string Rick because of the weird look.
  17. On the bridge, normally the brass bit at the top of it. I have one of these as well, which is my second. I sort of suspect that the one you're selling might have been mine at one point too, if not, it is identical! P.s. amazing basses, agree totally about the neck
  18. Purchased a Mark Bass pedal from Andy, very prompt delivery and great comms. Pleasure to deal with. Cheers
  19. Squier Bass VI, has Fender logo but still has the Squier serial number, it was just because I fancied a painted headstock and it was easier to find a Fender logo... Was refinished in matt blue ice metallic by me with a rattle can from Manchester Guitar Tech. It's not the best refin you'll ever see but it does look the part. There is overspray on the back of the neck and the fretboard as shown in the pics, wouldn't be too hard to get rid of it but I never bothered. There is also some original sunburst finish under the scratchplate, again, this wasn't a pro job. Has LaBella flats and a proper Fender Japan tremolo fitted. Price is firm just because I'd rather keep it on my wall than sell it any cheaper as I love the way it looks. Sounds great with the flats too. Pickup preferred but could pack well and ship in a proper guitar shipping carton, UK only though, sorry, but the customs paperwork is a real pain since The Bad Thing.
