6.
That Coppolo's tone is to die for. Absolutely gorgeous, and so very high in the mix! Wonderful stuff. Is there any way of ripping the audio out of this? I'm having no luck in saving the video file either.
Theres a software you can download for free that copies video and sound off youtube vids and saves it, maybe it can do the same for windows media? Dont know what the softwares called though
7.
Thanks for that. This is what he says: "My gig pedals include a 70s Mutron, 70s Bass Balls, EH Micro Synth, Boss Octave, Bass Flanger, MXR Driver and Auto Q."
sounded abit like a bassballs in the solo, cant tell the difference between all them filters though
8. The 90's stingrays are really amazing value for money. Usually on here for £6-700. Having said that went all out for a new one instead of a sub and its the best decision iv ever made
9.
i tried that and it saves as a tiny .asx file less than ikb in size. I am on my brothers stupid computer and it wont let me do anything in 'guest' mode. If i just click it it starts up in windows media player. any way of saving it in that ? Can anyone help ?
thats the same file as iv got, and it works fine for me :S
10. Im in the market to buy my first double bass and i saw that thwaites in watford had a few in my price range. Anyone had any dealings with them or know anything about them?
11. Yes i saw that, it must be an amazing bass because when i saw them he had his 66 jazz bass next to him and he never touched it. Maybe one day when im touring
12.
Top stuff! Is it possible to download this into Windows Media Player?
yes, when clicking on the link, right click and click save target as
13.
I don't plug my studio PC into the net - just an idea.
A technician found that the sources of the viruses on this laptop were from windows wordpad and windows movie maker. They had been embeded before i bought the laptop and from looking on google im not the only person who has suffered because of vista.
14. The 55-02 i played on was a very pleasent bass, ok to play on, not a bad feel, good build quality. But that was it. I like my stingray because it has a beefy neck and it really barks when you dig in, the p bass is like an old man in an armchair and delieveres a really warm sound, the warwick is like a smooth criminal, really crisp sound. The 55-02 for me, was like an accountant, a bit dull. (no offence to accountants)
15.
Aye, i should be getting the full grant or most of it. I'm going to try not to spend it on crap like bass gear or a games console or whatever like a few people i know have. I refuse to have to use my overdraft.
Thats a good plan, im stuck in the debt rut and have been all year But heck im a bassist and if i can pluck 4 strings and make them sound cool i can do jsut about anything edit: cant spell though (just)
16.
hey peeps!!! In about 3 months time i should have saved about 3k its taken forever!!!! 17. For those who havn't seen it yet i found a link on the alleva coppolo site and its brilliant. http://allevacoppolo.com/media
18. sold a pedal to graham and found him very easy to communicate with which made everything very easy, hope you enjoy it
19. For computors your going to need something with a) lots of power and b ) lots of memory. I would personaly go for a mac just because windows is flooded with viruses that have ruined my laptop countless times. Also make sure with whatever software you have it has plenty of room to breath (how much memory it requires). At a school studio we were often faced with a blue screen as the computor just lacked the power for all the plugins and software.
20. I do love them bricks! Especially mine with the high action that no one else but me can play
21. I have the LH500 which has the valve pre amp and i adore the clean tone it has. Also i owned the hydrive 410 which was amazing and delivered all my tones perfectly. I only sold it so i can buy the hx112 cab (when it comes out!) Iv played on a fair few rigs and i would only really sell up for a markbass rig.
22. This used to be mine and iv never seen a bass that looks so beautiful. The pics really dont do the finish any justice at all its truly amazing. I bought it second hand and the guy before it had it since new. It was made in the year 2000. If i had needed it i would never have sold it and if i had the money to spare i would be buying it back. If anyone buys it they will love it
23. Just had my first 2 hour lesson with jake and really enjoyed it. The guy is fantastic, he has loads of patience and is a great player. I would highly recommend him to anyone in the area that is after tuition.
24.
Guys, I have checked my dvd copy of the Roxy performance and it deffo aint Guy. Here is a photo of Jerry. Exhibit A M`Laud. Same bass, same hairdoo but he does look like Guy. But it`s no. Jez
Im gettin my money back on that eye test!
25. After a quick google iv found that theres an ampeg cabinet called the SVT 808HE. Theres someone selling this for £450 on this link. http://www.aberdeen-music.com/forums/equip...g-cab-sale.html
