1.
Bargain. and loads less in weight than the old XL series. I loved them, but the weight was horrific.

Brilliant! I've just picked up one of these myself and will be looking for a second one I reckon! Guildford is a bit out of the woods though! lol
cheers guys, i wouldn't be selling it but most venues iv recently played at dont require my cab and its definately too big for just playing in my bedroom!!!
2. This probably isnt as helpful but i recently compared a MM jazz bass and an origional 1976 jazz bass. I personal preffered the tone and feel of the MM bass. The weird thing is though the MM didn't seem as versatile as the 1976 jazz but then thats probably because of the old strings that were on it. From what iv heard the American Standard seems to be a modern take of a 60's jazz bass. If you want both sounds, get the American Deluxe. The new ones with the bound necks look awsome to me.

4. Hi, im currently studying bass guitar and music and something that interests me as a potential career is West end/ musical work in the pits. Iv been told a great experience is to watch a bass player in the pits and see what they do, so i was wondering if there was any player on here doing regular london musicals thats kind enough to let me sit in and watch for a show? cheers, Ollie
5. For sale is my Hartke Hydrive 410 cab. This cabinet is easily transported with removable casters and lightweight features. It offers unbelievable tone which is obvious when you see the high profile list of the artists that use it. These include; Victor Wooten, Jack Bruce, John "JD" DeServio, Stu Hamm, Nate Watts, Victor Bailey to name a few. Here’s your standard tech spec: Dual-chamber, sealed Cabinet 4 x 10-inch 250 watt HyDrive neodymium hybrid cone drivers 1-inch titanium compression driver Power Handling: 1000 watts Impedance: 8 ohms Frequency Response: 30 Hz to 17 kHz Sensitivity: 99 dB @ 1 W/1 m Voice Coil: 2.5" Parallel Speakon(tm) and 1/4" inputs High frequency attenuation switch (On, -6 dB, Off) Removable casters Dimensions: 24"(H) x 24"(W) x 15"(D) Weight: 70.4 lbs The cabinet is in mint condition and has never been gigged. It cost me £580 6 months ago so I am looking for £350. Unfortunately I don’t have a box for it so it will need to be picked up from my home in Guildford. For pics and more information here’s the Hartke website http://www.samsontech.com/products/product...1&brandID=3 youtube video
6. warwick basses are a love or hate thing. I havn't yet found one that iv liked and i dont like the tones. But i have a stingray because it has a great tone that seperates it from most other basses. But again it isnt very versatile unless you get a really nice one like the 20th anniversary stingray 5 HS... had lots of cool gadgets yet the amazing feel of a stingray, trouble is they seem rather rare AND EXPENSIVE!
7. I played on 67 p-bass at wunjo guitars in denmark street, i think i played on it for about an hour and a half! best bass iv ever had the privilage of playing and no vintage bass iv played on since has matched it.. But i put lindy fralin pups on my mex p-bass and for now thats going to do what a p bass does......... everything!
8. this is going to sound stupid as im sure noel redding most likely just had loads of gain on his amp but the crispy tone in songs like wait until tommorow is kinda what i was after... hope that helps?
