I had noticed it on a few part of the track if you listen to it with the volume turned right up, mainly the distant sound of the guitar coming through; it has that really sparkly sound that cuts through.

This was a track from the Japanese special edition of Graceland. It is marvellous. The alternate version of Homeless is fantastic too.

I wouldn't just recommend any Stanley Clarke album - you might end up with a Clarke/Duke project record by mistake! And they're bloody crap!

Endless Nameless is undoubtedly one of the best rock records ever made, what a masterpiece.

Wals sound like Wal basses. A few other basses sound similar too. A Wal does sound unique, but you could also do a Justin Chancellor and slather it in effects so much that it could be any bass he is playing! If you want to hear the Wal sound without too much interference, check out Power Windows or Hold Your Fire by Rush, or some old Jonas Hellborg videos on Youtube, he often used Wal basses in the 80's and early 90's.

That delay sound on the guitars give this such a massive, desolate feel. It has that touch of Alaska to it!
