Hi Fraff, The width is very similar to a jazz bass, it does feel the same as my Edwards Jazz bass from Japan. Unfortunately I have no experience with Ricks but I could get some measurements on the nut width later this evening Thanks for the comments all! I hate to part with this bass but all I can keep thinking about is building an even more unique bass from Mr Shuker
I love jazz necks. Wish I hadn't asked now - or at least wish my wallet could afford this
  4. It's a great "does what it says on the tin" pedal this one folks. Recommendation type bump.

+101 That's an amazing looking bass - good luck with it! Out of interest, what width is the neck at the nut? I'm guessing pretty much Ricky size from the pics? Ian
  6. Bump for a cracking Lakland

    Subaudio's feedback

Bought a couple of cabs from Marti. Both as described and sound as a pound. Great guy to deal with. Ian
  8. If the 410 was 4 ohm, I'd have had it in a shot! Good luck, sure it'll all go super quick.
  9. On hold for trade with Gillento.
  10.
Now for sale and open to trades
PM'd
  11.
Ooh, did I miss it. PM'd also.
Think I did too - my sh*t-off-a-shovel control wasn't turned up to 11
  12.
£100 posted , no offers.. had an unexpected bill land on my mat!!
Amazing looking piece of kit - good luck with it! Ian
  13.
Kool..... have you got anything else you'd be up for trading?
Poss a great big silver NYC Big Muff - well used but works a treat. I'd have to prize it back from one of our guitarists first tho!
  14.
Bump...... open to trades and offers
I'm looking at trading my SYB-3 for a Synth Wah - obviously you're not up for that as you've just flogged yours! But if I sell it, very interested in the Digitech. I'm Essex way too. Cheers Ian
  15. Hello I bought this Boss SYB-3 bass synth pedal from AJ on this forum just over a month ago, but can't get it quite to sit in the way I'd like with the rest of my fuzz-heavy board. Only used in in a couple of gigs in the time I had it, so still in the same nick as when I bought it - bar the addition of some velcro on the base which I can remove. Hope AJ doesn't mind me recycling his photo as the pedal is locked up at our rehearsal studio at the moment. So, I'm thinking of trading it for a Digitech Bass Synth Wah pedal. A lot of you will know what the SYB-3 does - 11 different synth modes, simple cool controls for shaping freq, resonance, speed, effects signal level. It's unboxed, but I would package very carefully if posting, and I can include a printed set of Boss instructions. Alternatively, for an outright sale, let's call it £45 posted, £40 if collected in London or Colchester. Cheers Ian

    Big Muff

If anyone has a hankering for a silver NYC Muff, give me a shout. Mine's being a bit unused at the moment. Looks a bit road weary, but works a treat!!
  17. Stephen (munkonthehill) and I can both vouch for these B5Rs - instant dial in for Ampeg goodness, with a useful OD channel you can blend in and a serviceable octaver too. Recommended.
  18. Hey Good luck with the sale Matt! Always good to include a picture or two. All the best Ian
  19. Have a bump for the Fatman - a nuts pedal! Would be very interested I reckon if it was the photcell /oscillator one - I'm sorely tempted by the V1 Buzz Bomb (with photocell) that Justin at 3Xfx does...
  20.
Hi all Looking to downsize my cab a little as I need more boot space, its 500 watts into 4ohms and very lightweight. Handles on top make it very easy to transport. Looking for trades for a smaller cab 12" or 2 x 10 but must be loud! Would want to get £285 for it, but need to make sure I time things right as I can't be cabless, hence the feeler! I'll put some pics up soon. Phil
PM'd
  21. Top heaviness from the runWALK gang - hugely recommended, but don't expect to hear much for a while after........

    Big Muff
The relatively new EHX Bass Big Muff is a great place to start. I bought one to replace my NYC Muff and my Ultra Fuzz. Fantastic pedal!
Have to agree. Recently replaced my NYC Muff with the Bass one and it stands up far better in a fuzz-heavy, two-guitar band set up.
