1. Order placed. Who needs to eat?
2. Oh no, Devi in Portland has announced on facebook that she's is building another batch of Truly Beautiful Disasters. Devi Ever FX facebook Devi Ever TBD I have no funds or, let's be honest, need for this pedal. However.... Form an orderly queue, behind me!
3. +1 to Woody's comment. This is 'kin awesome with a bunch of fuzz in front of it. Have fun Ant!!
4. Any thoughts on a For Sale price?
5. Now sold, thanks folks
6. Have a "recorded with mine all weekend - awesome sound out of a PM4>3xfxBuzzbomb and PM4>Digitech BSW>DeviEverHyperion signal path" type bump. I think I've even confused myself there. Anyhow, great basses with lovely (IMHO) jazz style necks.
7.
Oh yeah that's got it going on, very JJ Burnel on steroids. I can endorse this p/up config (it's the same as on my Basic) it's great sounding, with a goodly range of tones.
+1 on the p/ups - I have the supreme model of this PM4 (blocks, pearl scratchplate etc) and it's a versatile beast for sure - nice modern-ish tone that cuts through.
8. On hold pending international movements by Ant.
9.
Couldn't find much info about this particular pedal on that page - is it a clone of anything?
Not a clone as far as I know - though I've just tried to get hold of Joe who makes them to ask the question. But he's away on duty with the navy ATM. That explains the sailor bit! Sound-wise, it's a bit like the Barber LTD, and has an interesting sound on chords - kind of metallic. So it's quite a cutting sound without OTT levels of drive. Hope that helps a bit.
10. Bought this nice distortion pedal from Topo Morto on here a few weeks ago, but to be honest I already have enough dirt boxes on my board and this one is surplus to requirements. Ungigged in the short time I've had it and all in great overall condition. Handmade using vintage components - a little more info here It's currently on my board in our rehearsal studio, but I'll be retrieving it on Sunday 4th Sept, so available to be sent/collected after that. NOW SOLD, CHEERS
11. 1063?! That IS an early Fender Never mind pre-CBS, that's pre-Battle of Hastings. Where's my chequebook?
12. Bought a Napalm Snowball pedal from Trev. Excellent transaction all the way through - great comms, pedal arrived in good time, carefully packed and in great nick. Top bloke to deal with all round! Ian
13. I'm guessing the Napalm Snowball takes a regular centre-neg Boss-type power supply?
14. How's it shaping up?
15. Very nice. Be interested to hear how it all works out.
16.
Having mine with an extra 'clean blend' control, its gonna be sweeeeet Si
That's gotta be a good plan! Out of interest, where did you order one with a blend? Only ones I've seen have been the straight up, no blend versions....
17. Got one of these beauties with humbuckers (switchable to single coil). "Phat" hardly does it justice! Great vintage vibes and as light as a 8 lb 2 feather. Recommended!! Good luck with it.
18. Bought a couple of dirt pedals from Ivan. Top bloke to deal with - quick answers to questions and great fast delivery. Buy with confidence!!
19. Sold, pending the usual
20. For Sale my NYC Electro Harmonix Big Muff Pi. I'm after £30 + a fiver P&P. A few 'lived in' scratches to the face as you'll see, the lines on the knobs could do with a tiny lick of paint to make them stand out on stage a bit more and the Ampilifer socket (Out) has worked a little bit loose, but all in great working order. Original box and paperwork all included, all down to the EHX sticker! Velcro on the bottom. Comes with FREE working PP3 battery of indeterminate age. Cheers Ian
21. PM incoming.
22.
You snooze you lose http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=135012 http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...orman&st=20
It's a fair cop. I'll get my coat...
23. Read it and weep... http://www.andybaxterbass.com/details.php?id=165
24. Interested but can you clarify if it's the germanium or silicon version? And I might well be wrong but I thought forum rules meant you had to state a price.
