In case anyone is about this coming Saturday, the Cedartowns play the 2nd stage of the a Gravity Festivsl in Ireland at 9pm. Gates to the festival open at 2pm, should be a great day!

+1 for the Hercules stands... Here's my custom stands (sorry not a great picture), the stands slot into the handles on either side of my flight cases, so no chance of the stands toppling over and the bass hangs freely away from the flight case so no chance of dings! The bass grabber to hold the bass is a Hercules...

When I've used click and backing tracks in the past, the drummer would usually have a small mixer and obviously control of the song. The Wav/audio file would be panned left (for click) and right (for audio) which feed into the small mixer, split over two channels, The drummer unfortunately gets to hear both the click (has to be really annoying after a while!) and the track in his/her cans, the small mixer is then connected to the front if house from the audio channel via stereo outputs. Hope this makes sense.

It's been a great three day festival so far, with over 200 acts playing in every nook and cranny in and around Clonmel. Played two shows yesterday with the Cedartowns, the first, live on the street at half four and the second to a sold out show in Old St. Mary's Church at half eight. Two more shows today, one at seven in Dalys with the Cedartowns and a second in chrisseys at ten with Red Melody, all gigs are in aid of the Children's Hospital in Crumlin, Dublin. All acts have given their time for free! If anyone is around, make sure to say hello!

Black basses are definitely cool... Shame I have non in my current arsenal... I would love a black pre ernie ball stingray... Mmmnn lovely!!

That's fantastic, simple design, I must put one on order, as most of my gigs are doublers, so this would make change overs easy. I already designed and built my own electric bass stands which slot into either side my amp flight cases (handy when swapping between fretted and fretless bass). Petes stand looks like a great idea, does anyone know if it comes with a case/ bag? Cheers Andrew
