For Sale: Immaculate and beautiful birds eye maple EB Sabre neck (with pre EB decal). Originally a four bolt, but plugged and converted to a thee bolt. Truss rod working 100% and brand new frets. Ideal for anyone with a MM stingray, sabre or Sub bass that fancies a change. Postage is excluded, have all necessary packaging and carton to ship safely.

Very very close, Veijo is one of the last remaining few that will build pickups using the same specs as the originals, he also specifically builds the long pole pre EB MM Stingray pups!

With the exception of the mark on the upper horn, this is immaculate and would indeed make a fine pairing with the Stingray 😉

Not the heaviest MM, I’ve had some that were over 12lbs, this one is coming in at 11.2lbs on my bathroom scale.

Here we have what is alleged one of two only slab body Pre EB Sabre, re-built to Pre EB specs. Body, bridge, loaded control plate, string tree, tuners, battery cover, neck plate, strap buttons are all original. Refinished in the U.S.A. by Pat Wilkins, neck is a beautiful birds eye late 80s EBMM as are the sting mutes, pick guard is an aftermarket, pickups and pickup covers all hand built by the wonderful Veijo Rautia, assembled in Dublin by luthier Tony Thompson. Body has one small blemish on the horn (was that way when I bought it). Located in Ireland, shipping to be arranged by the buyer, I have all the necessary boxes and packaging material, it will be sold with the pretty beat up case as seen.
