MMmm judging from, that seller is selling his instruments new on ebay, all ove the world, therre must bee sold somthing? if you look at the baby bass threads, on talk bass they,go pretty mutch in to details abot a lot of things. kk basses, doont have a phone number to call, on their/his site, and the site is a littel mysterious in that way(manny(i think)sorry. I just mean that a place like this wood bee perfect to show up,for KK basses, and get some super basses out the door. its really allmost to good that a London ,luither can make basses at same prices, as in fantastic hot latino contries,(great people! over there,(tho their custom-police shut have more labradors,he he not funny, sorry) with all respect, look forward to hear more.

Hey fellas I'm a pro bass player from Paris and 2 months ago i buy a KK baby bass through ebay ! I realy love it, a good bass for latin and also it's great for old school jazz, soul. I know the ampeg bass and the KR1 seems a very good reissue of the old one with a better neck fingerboard wood. Kris is very serious he phoned me many times to know if the bass is ok. The difference between it and an Ampeg is the sustain, plucking with the end of the fingers give you that puncjy tumbao sound but in a jazz context you can have a warm sustain for ballads ! Fine arco player too
Hey all, I sent an email enquiry to kris via the website and he called me back, very similar and quick response when I ordered my Azola a few years back and Jill (Azola) called me... and Kris has since sent me on a few sound clips and invited me to come and try the bass out in person! Based on the contact so far, I couldn't fault them for their 'hands on' approach.... It's good to see a few players popping up who have tried and tested the KK Baby Bass! Keep the info coming....

It's the morning after the night before, and I finally get to assess the damage to my DB... It doesn't look good... Playing a gig last night, on both elec and upright, so setting up for the sound check and notice that my DB is a mile out of tune, I'm baffled as she's usually great to stay in tune between gigs and rehearsals, just have it tuned and my guitarist says 'hey what's up with the end of your bass? I spin the bass around and notice that the back of the upright is sitting around an inch off the sides down by the sound peg... Gig about to start, so no time to really take a look... Had to play electric for the full gig... Take a look this morning and it looks like the peg has been pushed up into the body, which has caused the bottom brace to snap and the body frame to warp with the back pushed/pulled out... Now to try and find a good luthier in Ireland and see what the real damage and real cost will be to get repaired... If anyone can point me in the right direction, it will be much appreciated... Cheers Andrew

Hi there, Up for sale is my EUB flightcase (may suit as a keyboard case), which I bought a while ago, but is of no further use to me as I'm playing full upright at this stage and have sold on my EUB with padded case. As the case is at the band lockup the pictures are from the former owner of the case, many thanks for letting me use them! Case used to belong to the waterboys... I really can't emphasis how good this case is. Its tough as nails and yet very very lightweight. The recessed wheels are a stroke of genius. Inside meaurements if it was stripped to its outer shell would be:- Length ( 55inch or 140cm) Width (13 1/2inch or 34 1/2cm) Depth ( between 4 and 5 inches. probably nearer 5) 21cm wide with the divider on wide side and 12cm on narrow side if foam were taken out pockets are 73cms and 65cms if foam were taken out Looking for [s]£150 [/s] [s]£ 125[/s] £100 plus shipping Thanks for looking Cheers Andrew
Hit the root note if you loose things dont stop and dont grimace if you mess up - just pretend it is all going to plan! All works for me.
And then repeat the mistake, that way it looks like you meant it!!
In particular, I love the EHX idea. I've never thought of using one of those amps as a little in ear monitor. I might just get one for other gigs too.
+1 I never leave for any gig (elec or upright) without my IEM's

Just bought an Ampeg V4 from Grahame... Top class bloke to deal with, kept in contact throughout, even went as far as to send me on picture of the amp as it was being packed for shipping... Just brilliant!!! Buy with confidence!!! Cheers Andrew

The bass is immaculate with gig bag and only 12 weeks old, so still under warranty... Could have it shipped to you for £270 if you were interested? Cheers Andrew
