I haven't had that model but I have several other TE amps/combos which perform brilliantly. There is a reason why there are so many around - because they do everything you ask them to. Having said that they are heavy compared to newer gear - around the 25-30kg mark - if you going to move it, have somebody who doesn't mind lifting heavy things with you.
I'm led to believe that they're relatively easy to service - anybody who's used to dealing with valves should have no trouble - last one I had serviced cost me £45 IIRC.
You can pick up a decent TE combo for around £150-200 - I've got 2x 300w models for sale here for £150 each.

Ooh interesting. I do have a Trace Elliot Commando 15 which is a ton weight but manageable for me. Was looking to maybe upgrade from mine. -
There's one of these for sale near where I stay and I'm quite interested in it.
Has anyone had any experience with these?
Also what price would be reasonable for this amp second hand?
Thanks in advance,

Is that a top value or what you would offer?

Just seems to be roughly what I've seen them go for. The market price does fluctuate.
It's only worth what you're willing to pay ( ) -

Look lovely! Love the purple

Amazing basses I've got a 5 string SE version. Plays like butter, sounds like thunder

Personally I prefer the look of an unlined fretless. Not spent too much time on a fretless to say which type I prefer to play on

Having bought this, it became highly unlikely that I would ever play the Harley Bentons again!

I recently approached Alex about the Tokai Hard Puncher that he's selling.
Although I haven't bought it (mainly because I haven't been able to try it out in person), Alex went out of his way to try and help me come to a decision, including recording a video of him playing the bass just so I could get a rough idea of how it sounds.
Whilst I was humming and hawing around for ages, Alex was really patient and helpful with me, which says a lot about the kind of person, and the kind of Basschat forum member he is.
So, thanks a lot Alex - sorry it didn't work out this time!
And for anyone else looking to deal with him, you can take it from me and everyone else who's already left feedback here, that Alex is a great person to deal with.
Cheers
Nik

Now the owner of a Vox AC15 C1 boy it's alot louder than I thought it would be. It's in absolutely immaculate condition, the previous owner takes good care of his gear (cracking gear he's got too).
Thanks everyone for the suggestions -
Pulled the trigger pick the amp up either tomorrow night or saturday morning
