4.
What we really need is for a chain of Charity Shops to launch their own brand of P-bass ...
And we'll call the shop Rue Syder?
I was given one of these in 1997 - it'd had 'fender' hand painted on the headstock Here I am, aged 13 with it in my mum and dads garden https://instagram.com/p/yfnph4OQWD/
That's awesome! Maybe you should re-live those days with another fine example of that bass Mine's missing the paint masterpiece though

 13.
Lovely old, and pretty rare copy-era MIJ bass, made by Moridaira, one of the smaller Japanese manufacturers. I'm a big fan of those Maxon pickups, and if I didn't already have an Ibanez P copy of a similar vintage, I'd be very, very interested! GLWTS! Jon.
Thanks Jon I appreciate it
 14.
That's a fine example of a good ol' P bass, 40 years on & still rocking great VFM too!
Thanks John that wiring kit has given it a new lease of life too
 15.
Any trades?
Maybe. PM me Mr Fresh
 16.
Noooooo no the CV!!!!!!! Only joking.. If I was to see a Fender Jap Tele at the right price it would come home with me as well at the expense of the CV. Would prefer a Jap model over Mexican anyday.
Pulled the trigger... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/259170-ngd-soon/
 17. Hello fellow Basschatters, Up for sale is my Hohner 1976 Precision bass. I've only had it a short time but I know it will just sit in my room and gather dust as I rarely practice at home. I bought it on a whim on EBay due to a bit of Precision GAS. When I received the bass the pots were very crackly and the volume only worked at a certain position. I have now replaced pots and wiring with a KiOgon wiring kit which has sorted the issue and the output of this bass is now mega. The bass has a great tone and has that signature chunky neck (chunky but not uncomfortable, even with my small hands). The bass has a few dings and a cigarete burn here and there but that's almost expected with a bass 40 years old. It adds the overall "Mojo" of the bass nicely. Bassassin has kindly dated the pickup to be September 1976 which leads me to believe the bass itself was most probably made that year. I'm not too sure of the weight but if needed I'll weigh it on the bathroom scales. Any questions do not hesitate to PM me. Price - [s]£200 ONO [/s]Now £130 ono Postage would be £20 extra. Would much rather collection in person as I'm always a bit anxious shipping instruments. 19. Now on the bay. Can't really justify this impulse buy.
 20. KiOgon wiring kit now installed after many weeks putting it off! OOOOFT! The output of the pickup on this bass is immense. I'm a happy guy the wiring kit sorted the issue!
