9.
Sorry for hopping on this thread but would any Scottish bass players be interested in this? http://basschat.co.u...__fromsearch__1
Hmm i'll have a look.
I'd be more than happy to go to another Scottish bass bash. Would offer help organising it but quite frankly I'd be more of a hinderance than a help!
I am hopeless at organising things too. I want another Scotland Bass Bash aswell. There must be quite a few scottish bass players on this forum surely!
 10. Should have a West Coast Bass bash Say maybe Ayrshire?
 11.
Moffat is off the A74(M), between Glasgow and Carlisle, a bit north of Lockerbie and Dumfries.
Is this the only Scotland Bass Bash?
 12.
You've missed this years Moffat Bass Bash, it was in March.
Aw man! Where is Moffat out of curiousity?
 13. Just wondering if there are any Scottish Bass Bash's happening this year? I've never been to a bass bash as most seem to be down South. Any info would be appreciated Alex
 14. Include Stage dance moves (e.g. the ZZ top guitar spin, the Chuck Berry Duck Walk)
 15.
What are you saying? You can't have too many basses ... but you can have too many guitars.... ? I recently played a Japan Fender P Really nice maple neck, with block inlays It was still in the shop last week .... so I had another go Top quality Fender Japan stuff out there... ...mmmmm
Exactly what i'm saying Loving the sound from my new Jap tele I think i've made the right choice
 16.
Mmm, Telecaster; drool!
Everybody loves a telecaster
 17.
Yeah, I was surprised too, even Allparts don't have one. Its not even like its because they come on 50's style Teles and people only want single ply, I've seen some awful modern ones for 5 hole. Bizarre. Sure scratch it can sort it, otherwise there is Andy Gibson in the basement of 25 Denmark St, he's an absolute top bloke and has made me many a pickguard in the past.
Yeh haha hopefully get a response soon
 18.
P.s. Callaham compensated brass saddles are great if your current ones are causing intonation issues. http://www.callahamguitars.com/partstel.htm
Saddles seem to be alright so far just waiting on scratch it getting back to me. Didn't realise how difficult it is to find the right pickguard with the same amount of holes that's 3 ply!
 19. Short list compared to alot I imagine. Peavey Milestone III bass (Red) - My first ever bass and was free! (Maybe my main inspiration to take up the instrument was that fact) STILL GOT! Squier Bronco Badtz Maru (Black) - Moment of madness, had no clue about basses, I just liked the funny penguin face as the pickguard. TRADED Jim Deacon (Purple) - Traded McNach my Squier Bronco for this bass, beast of a bass, wish I kept it as a project bass. SOLD Yamaha RBX 4A2 (Black) - One of the basses I do miss, had a certain charm about it...plus light-up knobs! SOLD Tokai Rockinbetter (Red) - Beautiful bass, I just couldn't love it. SOLD Lakland 44-01 (Natural) - First splash out on a bass in my eyes (and pocket), like a jazz on steroids, great bass. SOLD Sue Ryder P Bass (White) - Couldn't resist the price! In the end i couldn't get attached to it so off it went! SOLD Status Trace Elliott T Bass 5 string (Red) - My first 5 stringer and it's just an astonishing bass, the feel of it is just amazing it just wants to be played, I think this is a keeper! STILL GOT!

 22.
Well, WD only do 8 hole as far as I can see, and searching 5 hole on ebay only shows up ambiguous Mex/USA fitting ones. No worries though, these are the guys to email. They'll sort you out for sure. http://www.originalscratchplates.com
I'll drop them an e-mail tonight
 23.
Cool. If you need any help, happy to.
I really appreciate that, cheers bud
 24.
Nice one, glad you're happy. Pictures would be lovely, yes please! Now you have lots of pickguard choices. If you want to keep it 50's style, I'm wondering if Scratch It could make you s 3 ply guard where by each layer is black? Traditionally a black 3 ply guard has black/white/black layers, so you see a white layer around the edges, still cool though. And of course cream and tortoiseshell always look nice on a burst. Enjoy choosing.
Would have to stick with black. I'm not the biggest fan of tortoiseshell I'll have a look just now
