Think these have been rumoured/expected for a while, but officially announced a new MTD Kingston 32" model

Thanks all, definitely food for thought as configurator comes out about £400ish more than you see similar models retail for so just wanted to get collective input.
Question about the configurator - for those who have custom ordered is the price on the configurator the same price you got if you went through a dealer (Bass Direct or Classic and Cool)
A pretty poor example of releasing new models. Press photos/renders looking totally different to actual models they release. Just so weird and careless.
I had an Electra VS4 which I picked up for £400 and then sold it to Johnny Dibble (if you watch his reviews on YouTube)
Stupidly good bass for the money and probably should have kept it as they now seem to have crept up in price, even pre-owned.
Looked at MTD, and the Kingston Range? The Super 5 will do that (and about everything else)
I've got this one and I'm sure with a bit of tweaking you could end up at Stingray tone with 19mm spacing
I want to love these but I'm just not a fully blacked out stealth type of guy. Would be great to see this in more colours Vs the other stingray style HBs!
Question - what readily available pickups sound like the pickups in the BBG4A? I liked the tone but don't need another bass and have wanted to change the pickup in my MTD Kingston for a while....
I could be wrong - but apart from Wal I think you'd struggle to spec a build from a UK luthier that would cost the same as the likes of Fodera/Alembic.
Not sure why as the quality is there but I haven't seen a UK built bass go for £8k plus.
It's the colour choices that will do well for them.
Squier also do good value short scales, but if far fewer colours. Give people a good choice at a great price.
