1.
hello. new on here, coz i'm just lookin for a streamer stage I or II. pref slightly older with the older necks. would you be interested in a trade for a 2008 sandberg california jj4? based on a fender jazz, but in all the reviews claimed to be better. active/passive 2 x jazz single coils. hard core aged at the factory. can include pics if interested. Many thanks. bear.
I'm pretty sure this has been sold man.
  2. A Spector Euro perhaps Matt?
  3. My 635's value is at least £3500.
  4.
I guess if there are buyers for both I'd be able to split. Forgot to mention the GK Speakon cable is included too of course for the HMS.
Well I've just recieved my 1001RBII and it's crying out for a GK cab, so if you do decided to seperate I'll have the 2x12 please Russ .

  6.
I think Copeland is a great drummer but him and Sting aren't my idea of a great rythym section..
The only song IMO that really presents Gordon and Copeland as a tight rhythm section is Spirits in the Material World. A great bass line with solid backing.
  7. Just got Reggatta de Blanc today purely for Copeland, I'm not too fussed with Sumner and Summers, but Copelands playing on that album was ahead of it's time and still sounds amazing now. People do tend to forget that The Police were a close 3 piece before it became Sting & Friends, and easily upped the game musically when they came onto the scene. I wouldn't say their dire live, Copeland is just as interesting and innovative as he was 20/30 years ago, Sting and Summer's are the habitual let down though, Sting's voice has aged quite badly and Summers can barely remember half of the song before he starts adding some shoddy jazz nonsense which dosen't fit.
  8. I'd say my 44-02 Skyline plays and sounds just as good as JohnnyLightyears/Molans NYC Sadowsky which I had for a decent length of time.

    GK Neos...
Dont let Gunsfreddy pop over with his GB when he gets it - you will be doomed
To be honest his GB will sound perfect through his current rig, GB's are warm and zingy basses, and Mark's rig is perfect for that, if it dosen't sound as nice as I've got it pictured then I'll be damned to Hell in a handbag.
I've had a 1001 and 2 1x12 NEOs for about a year and a half - they suit me fine. Must have done twenty-thirty gigs, and no problems so far. (I'll probably regret writing that! )
Ahh thats cool man, it's most likely a case of a duff cab, GK are known for letting quite a few duff products slip by quality control.

    GK Neos...
I know nothing about overheating. But is going from EBS to GK an upgrade?
I can't get on with the cabs or head any more John, I find the cabs too harsh even with the tweeters off and both the treble and bright cut on the head, and there is no warmth at all to my ear and the tube mode does next to sod all. And having Gunsfreddy pop over recently with his rig I've realised how much EBS isn't for me. Trust me I tried keeping away from GK but ironically the 1001RBII may indeed be right for me, as would the cabs.

    GK Neos...

I've got my sights set on a GK Neo 2x12 and Neo 2x10 to replace my EBS cabs, but I've recently been informed that the 2x12's have been known to overheat quite often and would be wise to steer clear of them, yet I have read countless reviews on Harmony Central and TalkBass and haven't seen it mentioned at all. Any experiences that can shed any light on this?
  13.
Bass Merchant... Colchester (Essex)
They've only got a 44-02 deluxe .
  14. Have we got any other dealers that stock Laklands other than The Bass Gallery? Purely because I've been blown away by my 44-02 so much so that I fancy a nice 55-02 or Joe Osbourne to accompany it.
  15. Esperanza's version of Overjoyed destroys Wootens. Amazing performance all around.
  16. Seth does it better.
  17.
Markbass CMD 121H combo plus CMD 121H extension of any interest?
Thanks for the offer man but I've got my sights set on GK.
  18.
Will accept offers, but not for the price Josh let his go for last year!
Ha, I completely forgot about that.
