Hi Panther
seems like only yesterday I was buying your Pedaltrain Junior board, so you could downsize to a Pedaltrain Mini.......what happened?!! Too much GAS? -
Been totally happy with Fender Bassman 135 rig for nearly 15 years now. It's just a great platform from which to build pretty much any sound I want. It delivers the sound of the instrument very clearly. I have a bass from 60s, 70s, 80s and 00s. Each produces the sound of its era. Also the Bassman head is awesome as a guitar amp. So I get 2 for price of one.
Oh did I mention the amp cost me £70 from Admag, the 1x15 cab I use was £100 and the 2x15 was £225.
I am v happy with this arrangement! -
Thanks for tip
Will come back to you all when pedal arrives by ship -
Not really sorted for clip recording....
I'll try and sort it out tho.....
Any tips for getting clips posted so basschatterers can listen with ease direct from a post on here? -
just taken the plunge on the compressor - hope it doesn't take too long to arrive
-
Pm re moollon compressor
-
How about swap for a Tone Factor Pulp Mill already modded for bass. It's based on the famous Orange Squeezer compressor.
-
Pm re tone press with a poss trade too
-
I totally get your reasoning for this sale.
I have the very same combo your going for, black & maple Ray and a Sandberg JM4!
So this is really just an appreciative free bump for you and to say to anyone else if you haven't already tried a Sandberg they are truly awesome instruments that play so well and sound great too. -
Not sure if Tayste is putting a marker on this PT Mini. Either way please can you put me in line for it and PM me with your price?
Thanks -
Hi all
Just letting y'all know that we're headlining the gig at The Fleece tonight and should be on stage around 10.15 -
great - it'll be good to see you and buy you a beer
last gig we did there was well attended and we went down a storm -
Hi Basschattererers
Got what may be our last gig for a year or more
It's this thursday at the fleece on Mansfield road
And it's free and the beers good
We suggest get down by 8.30
Here's the flyer
And you can check us out on My Space here, we've finally completed three proper recordings - only took us a year to mix them!

Damn I'd really like to. See hear you play: but I am rehearsing with my other band on the Friday
-
That would be great sometime in next few weeks maybe?
For any other bass fx junkies in Nottingham that are reading
My band Songs By Canadians will playing Golden Fleece on Thursday 9 June.
There will plenty of bass fx in action and entry is free plus the beer is good at t'Fleece

Oh poo
Ive been wanting to try one of these for ages!
Im in Nottingham too tho.....hi Shep!
Maybe we should have a Nottingham bass fuzz fest and all try out some cool pedals? -
I didn't get one yet...? PM'd you though (in case that's what you meant )
Just tried again to PM
But switched to Cusack not HBE
Thanks -
Pm on that HBE
-
To the OP, you might want to PM the guy in that original FS thread who just missed out to you when you bought this.
You may already have done this, of course! Either way, have a free bump on me! -
That Geiger Counter is sooooo tempting; but not sure I would have any use for it either.
Tempting tho for fun bedroom antics........ -
Now on hold with cash deposit paid
Really sad to see this beautiful instrument go; but the temptation of a 1993 MIJ Fender '54 Strat is too much to resist. -
Catalinbread SFT is freakin A - it's like adding a very powerful drive channel to your amp, works especially well pushing a valve amp
Extreme distortion: try Wooly Mammoth or Copilot Fx pedal that sounds like a laser gun; can't remember it's name.
Also The Goose looks nice
Wren & Cuff Pickle Pie B looks good too
I believe both these last two have blend knobs -
Loud clothing will help too!
I'd be so pissed about missing out on another Oxide if I haven't already ordered it new haha. USPS is taking its time to deliver it though.
Thanks for the sentiment; but it's fine I have plenty of dirt already so can wait
