1.
Check out the Youtube clips for the Catalinbread SFT pedal - it's sounds as good for real. I'm running that thru a Markbass LMK and LOVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVIIIIIIIIIIIINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG it.
+1 re Cat SFT

2.
the cab....
didn't know what speakers were in it till i took the front off
looked up a bit more about the cab and it seems that, with just a little bit of extra bracing it can be made to sound as good as it looks!
(not that it sounds at all bad at the moment :) !

am in discussion about the amp - so the cab *may* be available on its own... offers? trades?
(will confirm)

which model eminence?? - i thought they were suited to 'compact' cabs too? or am i wrong again??
roger
not sure what model the Emminence were that I loaded mine with. It was about 10 years ago and they were about £140 each. They produce a nice medium-tight clear sound while retaining all the warmth and bottom you would want from a rig like this. The speakers have Emminence written in large white letters over the centre of the cone if that helps. I tried high end JBLs and Celestions at same time; but the Emminence just creamed the lot!

Anyway good luck with the sale.

Is that chap still selling his kidney - I'm ready for my tea and he hasn't come back to me yet!

3.
Believe me my good man I am in the process of selling everything I can to get close to buying this - I assume postage is possible?

Anyone want to buy a kidney?
if you'll chuck in some liver and a sausage I might be interested?!!!

seriously tho.......anyone who doesn't grab this amp is a mentalist
don't know about that cab; but i have the Bassman 135 cab (not the one pictured to left) and it can be made extremely efficient and tight sounding with a simple bit of extra carpentry. I have mine loaded with 2 x high-end Emminence 350w and it sounds fookin-A!

good luck with the sale to the OP and the dealer in human organs

5. BARAGIN BUMP

I was looking for £50 posted in UK for this bad boy.
To get one of these new from the States will cost around £100 after import duties and shipping.

It's now on EBay and bid for only £30 at the moment and it will sell at that price.
The auction ends 16.30 on Tues.

6. My sexy feedback looper is now on eBay and currently bid for just £30. It will sell at this price. So nows a chance to grab it for a bargain price. The auction ends around 16.30 on Tues 19 Oct.

This pedal is a great piece of boutique madness from those loons at Oh No Ho Pedals.

This Chick Chick Boom is a feedback looper.
It feeds your effected signal back into the input of the effect or combination of effects in the loop; the results are often utterly insane.
It works especialy well with flanges, delays and filters. You can colour the signal up with other effects outside the feedback loop too.
Hours of fun for those with an unhealthy obsession with sound.

This Chick Chick Boom has the handy optional extra of a bypass switch, so you can choose to include the original FX signal or just have the fedback FX signal.
The switch is a momentary one, ie. no latch, so it just stays fedback while you have your foot on the pedal - very cool and useful.

It can also be used as a momentary A/B switch - just turn the feedback level to zero.

here's a link to what Lawrence the maker has to say about it:

this pedal is nuts and a lot of fun.
It was made in April 2010, I am the only owner and it has not been out of the house.
I'm selling cos I have another feedback looper too and need to raise some funds for a guitar.

7. Currently on the EBay block is my early 90s Epiphone Gidson Les Paul guitar.
This auction ends on Tues 19 Oct at about 16.30. The bid is currently only £100 and it will sell at that price.
Here's the gen on this great guitar.

I bought it new in 1995/96. These early Korean Epiphones are now recognised and sought after for their high quality, that far surpasses later Korean and Chinese versions.

This one sounds and plays great. It has actually had very little use throughout my ownership. This guitar has been professionally set up in the last few years and it has only been played at home. It is in A1 condition and comes with a Rok Sak gig bag.

I was asking £175 for it + £20 shipping in UK or cash on collection in Nottingham
But it looks like you might be able to grab yourself a serious bargain via the Bay at £100+.

Grab a great guitar for not a lot of money!

8.
Hiya mate

Problem with all those questions is that they require subjective answers! If I was being 100% honest I'd say it's a pile of crap and sounds like it, and you shouldn't buy it, but then I hate drum machines. Guys who know about drum machines seem to think this is one of the better ones, especially at this price. I think your best bet is to read the online reviews and make up your own mind :)

C
just after i pressed the send button, i thought to myself those are pretty dumb questions I just asked!!
thanks anyway

9. item arrived exactly as described and in condition
a bit of a mix up on postage, but good comms kept everything sweet
good guy to deal with
thanks

10.
I agree and indeed is on hitlist - but ideally looking for someone who will trade - would love a blue one or a white one .........:) and also an old one as they seem to have more soul generally
i saw an old one recently in a strange guitar shop in backwaters of Lincolnshire. It was v.nice and about £650 I think.
