1.
Where abouts are you mate? Is it a gig bag or hard case with it?
I'm based in Swindon man, and it comes with a fitted hardcase. Blind pilot, i'm not 100% sure whats up with the gearbox, apparently there may be a drive shaft problem too so really I'm looking for funds to put towards a new car.
 2. Price Drop. £200 + delivery. Need this to go as my car's gearbox is now utterly f***ed. (someone PM'd me a while back but my inbox emptied and I couldn't find who it was! so sorry whoever that was)
 3.
Don't mind at all - shame you have to get shot of it so quickly, especially after my epic snow trek I reckon this is easily a 9/10 condition-wise. Lovely bass, really easy to play - fast neck, great variety of sounds.
I know Paul, I realy do appreciate the effort you made to get it to me!! It is a nice bass, the same as my other one is!
 4.
Any detailed pics of the actual bass? Is it Trans Black?
It is indeed trans black, pics of actual bass should be with you guys tonight. Case is included as well, forgot to mention. (i hope Paul S won't mind, but here's a link to the original sale thread http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=111719&hl=pro) it's a great bass, i just don't really need two identical basses and money is short.
 5.

hmmmmmm........it would go nicely with my other horses head ...
 6. Would like a sale this week really, make me an offer I cant refuse.
 7. Hi Recently bought this Epi Thunderbird PRO IV as a backup for my other t'bird PRO, but as much as I love them, I don't really need 2 identical basses and would prefer a little bit of variety in my collection. The Epi is in great condition with no scratches chips (although i'll give it a go look over when i take pics short looking at around £230 + P&P Open to trades but would prefer a sale now really. (for now here's a stock picture, but I'll get some uploaded shortly)
 8. Bought a Epi T-bird PRo off Paul a little while back (sorry it's taken so long to leave feedback !!), great transaction, even hiked to the Post Office in the snow for me!
 9.
I've got a Mighty Mite maple neck from t'EBay, which is really, really good (I sold my 08 MIA P on the strength of it). Cost less than £80. If there's nowt on Ebay, they can be had for a little more than that, but they're still worth it IME.
i agree, have a Jazz mighty mite neck on an old p copy body, really nice neck.
 10.
This brass grounding plate was standard on older Fender basses and yes it should be connected to earth sleeve of jack socket (or nearest earth connection). Here's a pic of the grounding plate in my 72 P
ah...someone in the know on your bass, is there an earth going to the bridge still? the grounding plate is connected to the vol. pot casing as you'd expect but there's no electronics>bridge connection.
 11. *not my pic* but mine is a slightly battered looking version of this http://media.photobucket.com/image/p%20bas...ickup_Plate.jpg (won't let me embed)
 12. Recently purchased u used P Bass body. The pickups/electronics seem to be grounded to a brass(?) plate beneath the pickup. Do I need to then ground that plate to the bridge or leave as is?
 13.
epi t-bird IV with hardcase?
tempting, do you have any pics? i'll be putting pics of the jazz up tonight, ended up at jam night last night! anyone else got anything to offer up, someone mentioned trading an OLP (they decided not to trade in the end though) but i got me thinking and looking at them and they seem like something i'd like. but still..throw any offers at me!!
 14. pics pics pics, i'll be able to get some up when i' home from work today. but it's your standard CV Jazz, white/tort, no mods, no dings, i do love it, just looking for something different and seeing whats around out there.
 15. i do like that, but for my current project it may look a bit modern. one to consider for sure though.
 16. Looking to trade my CV Jazz. Only a few months old, fancying a bit of a shake up with my bass gear to keep things fun. I'll consider all types of bass but mainly 4 strings really. I like quirky things, shortscale's, hollow bodies, odd shapes WHY?! doesn't haven't to be an exact trade, a bit of money either way is cool. **EDIT** So I found the right trade for me. Thanks so much for all your replies.

 18. 2 x Peavey PRO12P Active Speakers (not to be confused with the current pro12 speakers, which are passive and therefore a fair bit cheaper!!) I can send by courier for about £30, if you can arrange your own for cheaper that's fine and you are more than welcome to pick up from Swindon, Wiltshire. I have this currently on ebay here, with photo's ( http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...T#ht_500wt_1154 ) with a £175 start price. However, for you guys, I'll sell them for £200+p&p as I need a quick sale to get the money (just been confirmed to play at glasto, which is the perfect excuse needed to buy more cabs!!)
 19.
Hi, i'm interested! where are you based?
I'm in Swindon, so just on the m4, I see you're in Bedford, don't mind meeting in Oxford for a fiver petrol money. thanks for the interest

 21. 8 CHANNEL MIXER AND 2 ACTIVE SPEAKER CABS Mixer Peavey PV8 8 channel mixer Four XLR Mic inputs. Two stereo channels with RCA and 1/4" inputs. Three-band channel EQ. A/B stereo input selector reduces patching. Inserts on all mono channels. Clip LEDs that thoroughly monitor clipping. 48V phantom power switch. Effects send on every channel with stereo return. Monitor send on every channel. Zero latency record monitoring capabilities. Control room output with level control. Contour control switch. 80 Hz low-cut switch. Dimensions (HxWxD): 9.37" (238mm) x 11.75" (298mm) x 3" (76mm) Weight: 7.1lbs (3.23kg) In great working order, with original power supply. Good little mixer with enough flexibility to work well as part of a small band PA system. Phantom power using powered condenser mics is a possibility so can be used in a home studio or whatever. Speakers 2 x Peavey PRO12P Active Speakers (not to be confused with the current pro12 speakers, which are passive and therefore a fair bit cheaper!!) Bi-amplified power system with 270 total peak dynamic power Both amps have DDT compression 12inch heavy duty woofer 1.4 titanium compression driver Peak SPL up to 120dB Combo jack with ¼ inch TRS and female XLR mic or line level balanced input Two ¼ inch jack inputs with concentric level controls. As with the mixer, this pair of powered speaker cabs are in great condition. Both work perfectly with no issues. Comes complete with power supplies. Together the mixer and speakers offer a really great small PA system suitable for band practices and small gigs. All you need to add are a few lead (¼’ - ¼’) and some mics and you’re away. It’s a nice sounding PA and is very clear and loud. Before we bought it, we researched away, and this really was the best combination we could find at this price. If bought new the pair of speakers would set you back £400ish and the mixer somewhere around £100 if I remember correctly. Looking for £290 ONO for the lot. Bargain for what it is. I'm based in Swindon and dont really want to post it, can deliver or meet within 25miles for petrol money. New here but have 100% ebay feedback, username 211dave112 pics....have more if needed...
