It's all horses for courses mate. If I'm doing a delta blues / jazz gig, I'm not going to want a super crisp Status or 18v circuit, I'll want a passive bass. If I'm doing a modern covers band / musicals, I'd want an active bass so I can adjust the tone and make sure it punches through a full orchestra. Jim

If I can come out of hospital and a week later do 3 45 mins sets with it, it's good enough! The bridge on the is adjustable. Just ask OutToPlayJazz

If they play anything like the VM jag basses, it's on my list!!!

I've got a TC Classic 450 which I've been using for bouble bass gigs and it suits perfectly.
