I don't get much time to practice so apart from bathrooms I keep a bass in each room in the house, including kitchen and 2 of the kids bedrooms! So if there's a spare minute to lay some grooves there's no excuse.

Yes the 33" are lovely, I'm not exactly 6ft but there's no big finger stretching and it just feels so natural. If you're ever coming past Grimsby (it's a bit like Paris if you've never been), your more than welcome to come and have a play
