I bought 2 of these cabs (along with a Genz Benz STL9.0) new from Bass Direct but I only ever need to use one of them for the gigs I play. The other is sat around not getting used so I may as well give someone else the opportunity of owning one of these fine cabs. New these are now priced at £815 plus £60 for the cover. Condition of both the cab and the cover is excellent. The cab is rated at 8 ohm. http://www.bassdirect.co.uk/bass_guitar_specialists/Berg_HD_112_210_410_212.html I'm based in Bolton Lancs and would prefer collection rather than couriering something of this weight. Not looking for any trades as I'm really happy with my one HD210 and Genz Benz set-up. I'll add some photos when I get the chance.

National Insurance number requests by landlords
mr zed replied to graham1945's topic in General Discussion
Taking my wife's MINI in for a service at a main dealer and getting a courtesy car in return this Thursday and they have asked for my NI number. As we never usually use main dealers I've never encountered this before. Not a big problem but just never needed to before.
They need this for an online licence check code. This is fairly new since the paper part of a driving license became defunct. -
Thats a shame , I hope you got it sorted, OK Funds are OK , finished up with a few pennies over which we can put to the next one.
Yep - all sorted now thanks to Kwik Fit in Bolton. Both front tyres needed replacing (puncture in drivers side & wear on the passenger side). Puncture caused by a screw not glass as first thought. Just had a look at the pictures - looks like you had a great day. Gutted to have missed it. See you all next time.

So, loaded the cabs, amp, bag & stands into the boot. First bass loaded onto back seat, second bass being loaded into front seat footwell then I discovered this. Not a happy bunny. Played a gig in a rough hole last night band there was glass on the car-park. Thought I'd got away with it as the drive home was fine! Going to be spending the afternoon sorting this out now. Have fun everyone, I was really looking forward to this. If your short of funds from today to cover the costs, please let me know and i'll happily transfer my £10.
Has anyone heard any other Rag'n'Bone Man songs other than "Human"?
Yes - I downloaded Wolves and it is a cracking album. Hugely enjoyable. No 2 tracks sound the same. Highly recommended. I went to see the gig at the Club Academy in Manchester late last year and he cuts it live as well. In fact the whole band were immense. The bass sound was awesome with some really tasteful playing. Have a listen to Guilty and Hell Yeah!

Our guitarist seems to be able to remove most of the songs in our current setlist from his head with no problems whatsoever. I'll ask him how he manages it and report back.
-
My first one also - not really sure what to expect. Any seasoned bass bashers care to share what we're in for?
Maybe, maybe not. I certainly would not defend the notion of universal admiration/popularity. However my kids definitely don't indulge my preferences; the abuse I get if I put a Yes CD on when they are visiting is quite unsettling For my birthday I know they went through my CDs as they thought they had spotted a Zep CD I didn't own - they were right. They them admitted to accidentally having it in their laptops pre-wrapping.
I bet it was Presence!

^^^^ lol Edit - sorry this was pointing at Paul Nicholas

First band I ever saw live in 1979 when I was in my teens. Obsessive fan during those formative years and Rick was such an inspiration. Saw them a few times up until the line up change then moved on but always had a real soft spot for early Quo (Ma Kelly, Dog of 2 Head, Piledriver, Hello, Quo, On the Level, Blue for You, Live). Really sad news.

Relative positions of the MM pickup in MusicMan basses
They make a lot more sense in imperial - US basses presumably designed and built to imperial measurement standard!
They would make a lot more sense in Lilliput. -

The 25th Anniversary/Reflex HSS has the rear humbucker closer to the bridge than the sweet-spot.
