  1. For sale Epiphone Jack Casady in very good condition. Nice tone and killer look but I don’t use it much as I play Jazz/Jaguar basses with narrow necks while this one although quite comfortable yet more P-bass nut width. Got GAS for something else so this one needs to go.. Comes with the original hard case.

  2. As planned I’ve removed J-Retro preamp and replaced it with the original passive plate. Nordstrand NJ4 pickups still in of course 😉 Price reduced. £950 now
  3. I’m not looking for a swap except one very specific bass - Fender American Standard Jaguar. Message me if you’ve got one of these 😉
  4. For sale my Japanese ‘62 reissue Jazz Bass in Olympic White. Made in 2004/5 according to the serial number (I had it for 10 years now). Great condition for a 20 years old bass with just a couple of small marks. I’ve upgraded it with Nordstrand NJ4 (60s era / 7.25” radius) pickups (best pups known to mankind 🤪) which immensely improved the sound. I’ve also installed John East J-Retro preamp. Those upgrades are reflected in the price. The original control plate included. If you’re not a fan of active preamps I’m happy to reinstall the original plate and lower the overall price by £100. I’m based in London, E5
  5. Hello, I should also add - there are 2 very common issues with these amps - the blue lights fail and the crackling pots. The blue lights work fine in mine (see the pics) but the pots were indeed a bit crackling when I tested it today. I’ve sprayed them with Contact and it’s nearly completely gone now. The Gain and Master are fine, just the Volume still has a little bit of a crackle when adjusted while playing (when adjusting while not playing there’s no crackle at all). Minor issue but thought worth to point it out.
  6. Up for sale my Genz-Benz Streamliner 600 Lovely, tube'y, full sound (has 3 valves on the preamp) and super light weight (2,7kg) Back in a day I’ve compared it A/B to quite a few other amps including Aguilar Tonehammer and Darkglass. IMHO Streamliner was the best to my ears, most tube like (closest to my favourite - an Ampeg SVT but without the weight) while maintaining clarity. Saying that, if you’re looking for a modern, uncoloured and clinical amp - this one might not be for you. Gain can be pushed into a nice, warm overdrive. Comes with the original box and gig bag. If you behave I’ll throw in couple of speakon cables too, one short and one long 😉 Selling as I don't gig these days and use inEar monitors anyway...
  7. EH Bass Soul Food overdrive pedal in good and fully working condition. Comes with original box.
  8. Sold Gary my Spector LX4 white/chrome. Gary drove from Portsmouth to collect it (in 45mp/h winds!). True gent and solid guy. Thank you!
  9. Now sold! Thank you for interest.
  10. Ok, you’re right. I’ve edited it again and hopefully now it’s all clear. Once again sorry for any confusion 🙏🏻
  11. Hi Michal! Ok, sorry, you're right. It's not exactly. Spector made 30 of them and I missed out on it (and yes - I do remember yours ). I got in contact with them and they made one for me to the same spec (same woods - solid wings - chrome hardware) so you could say mine is the 31st one. I was endorsed by Spector then and my name is still on the list of artists. I've corrected the post accordingly.
  12. For sale my Spector Euro LX4 It was made to order to the exact same spec as SE5 Special Edition, with a chrome hardware and solid maple wings (rather than usual “sandwiched” ones). It's in mint condition, sitting in the case for years as I moved to Jazz / Jaguar Basses. I've upgraded it with HazLab preamp clone made by Mighty Mite. As far I'm aware they made few of those before they got sued so they stopped some years ago. In any case - it's a perfect clone of HazLab and sounds identical. Now... I had US made Spector NS2 in the past and was able to compare those two basses. IMHO to justify the hefty price tag of the US made Spectors they put TonePump preamps into Euro models so you could hear the difference. I'd say Euro with Tone Pump preamp is about 80% of the sound of the NS2. If you put HazLab into it you get 99% of the US made one. Yes, there might be some differences in exotic woods NS2 is made of and perhaps even the craftsmanship but my Euro was so close in quality and tone to my NS2 that in the end I decided to sell the US one. I bought it new those years ago (around 10?) and still have the original box (see the pics)
  13. I sold my Berg CN212 to Bas. He came with his Darkglass amp and Vanderkley cab. We had a nice A/B comparison of the gear. Nice guy and knowledgeable too. Thanks
