1. I believe the gentleman I spoke to was called Richard, by the way.
2. Hi guys. I recently made an order for a few bits and bobs from GuitarGuitar. I've bought things from them in the past and they delivered. Well this time one of my items was wrong; I'd ordered a 5ft Planet Waves lead for home practice. Instead of that I received a pack of three 6-inch Planet Waves patch leads. So I called them up that day and explained the situation. They were more than happy to send the cable to me by next-day courier and told me they'd call me back regarding the patch leads. Five minutes later I received a phone call. They said that I was welcome to keep the patch leads as the mistake shouldn't have happened in the first place They were very friendly, apologetic and more than willing to ensure that they could provide the best service possible to the point that I decided to make this thread. Their attitude was better than some unnamed British music shops and I'll be continuing to purchase from them in the future That's all, folks!
3. That's amazing. Thanks for the link!
4. Played-in D'addario Chomes in the gauges of 40-60-80-100. These recently came off a Rickenbacker 4003 so they're cut for a 2+2 headstock. I'm after [s]£15[/s] £10 posted Cheers, Bob
5. Bumping!
6. Would love to be there. In fact, I'd love to check out one of your gigs sometime! Love that dirty rock and roll.
7. Nice collection, by the way, especially the Les Paul
8. Welcome to the forum
9. Are you interested in any trades?
10. Bump with price reduction.
11. I don't know what knobs they are but I'm pretty sure they're the same as on the older Boss pedals. I got a pack of six from eBay a few years ago.... Gaz, I know! It's a great pedal but I just don't have a use for it and I really need the money after making some poorly timed purchases
12. I'm selling my Xotic BB Bass preamp as it's not getting much use these days. It's a great little overdrive that can warm up a sterile rig and add some much needed girth for when your guitarists drop out to solo. I used it for this purpose for a good while. It's in excellent condition with velcro on the bottom. I replaced the stock knobs as they're as useful as a chocolate teapot on a dark stage. I can dig them out if you need them but these knobs are a significant improvement for practical use. I'm after [s]£120[/s] [s]£110[/s] £100 posted. 13. Hi guys, I've got a set of Gibson 500T and 496R humbuckers. These came out of a 67 reissue Flying V shortly after purchase as they're a bit hot for my tastes. They're ceramic, high gain pickups. If you're into hard rock or metal these will get the job done. You can roll down the volume to clean them up but they definitely excel at the high-gain gig. I'm after [s]£75[/s] [s]£60[/s] [s]£50[/s] £45 posted for these Cheers, Bob

Just got this back after having a full clean-up, setup, entirely new wiring and pickups and some locking Sperzels. Sounds absolutely lovely:
16. Bumping! EDIT: For clarity the specs are: 4 Conductor wiring, "F" spaced bridge pickup, long legs (1/2 inch) on neck pickup, short legs (1/4 inch) on bridge (should fit into most Gibsons and Gibson-inspired variants.) I'd also be willing to sell them separately if someone has a H/S/S Strat that could do with a new bridge pickup
17. Also, what's your rehearsal space like? It might sound better than you think if you're in a small room.
18. I know this is a cliché answer but it may be a case of having to EQ your amp to a tone that sounds a little unpleasant on its on in order to sit in the mix. I love Precisions because you can practically plug and play with them but some basses do require a bit of amp-side tweaking to get the best results.
