1. Bought Rays lovely MTD Z5. without knowing him, or he me, transfered a few hundred quid into his accout and a couple of days later had a bass turn up at my door. Top bloke, is well worth your trust.
2. ARIA SB series- By far the best bass ive owned.
3. Having second thoughts about selling this, but BUMP anyway.
4. Cheers Dude, i see the G&L is getting plenty of use. I am only moving this on to give me room for something else, no other reason, she does sound good.
5. Now on the bay bump.
6.
Sorry these basses are long gone......
Clear out the Arias and i will Pm!!
7.
This would probably be a good time to discuss my commission... J.
....*rethinks*, This bass at this price sells itself!!
8. Cheers guys, i knew if i wrote as little as i could at the top of the thread then some genuine bassophiles would come along and sell it for me, better than i can.
9. bump
10. Really great introduction to fretless. Has got me hooked onto note planks and i am not a particularly good player. the bass is in very good condition, stings are set a bit too high, but i have not bothered adjusting them. Has a really nice sound, big round and fat. Looks the part too. 11. I will be very brief. Really sounds like a Ray, the preamp is not as versatile, the neck is not as nice as a Ray. but considering the price i am selling this for this will get you a really good Stingray copy. Its in very good condition, maple neck with block inlays, blueburst finish on ash body. 9v preamp. If anyone has had one of these can you confirm or argue against my comments. £100. Collected from portsmouth. I am often around brighton or hatfield area. Can post.
12. Someone will come along in a minute and tell you to put a price on it, the rules an all that.
13. £230 for a USA G&L. WOW
14. Best colour finish IMO. If this is anything like the SB1000, your mad for selling this. Have a BUMP anyway.
15.
So why you selling yours then?
Constant need for new toys.
16.
pretty much most stingray got that dead G ........ i not sure is dead G is the right term to describe but i think it take abit of time to get use to. You get use to playing the G string alot harder than the rest.
Badboy, you are a bad boy. Back of the class please for not being able to string sentences together correctly.
17. Sorry Kev, if it was not for the missus reeling me back on this one i would have been recieving this tomorrow! Loverly bass for a good price. Shre it wont be around for long.
18. A fight would have been better result, but you have done well, and with such dignity. What a great thread!
19. Top man Len! Just opened the very well packed ME-8b pedal, and immediately got the sound i was looking for. Could do with a talent boost pedal though.
20. Wee guy or not, if you were closer id swap my jazz with you for a month or so, id love to try a ray. My cousin is off to the Port on friday, but i dont think she would like the idea of taking her 2 kids and my bass to you and comng back with another.
21. Temporary swap shop, sounds like a wicked idea to me. Surly there should be a dedicated place on the forum for that.
22. Wot he said. Kieran is a good guy to deal with. My advice, you live in London mate, give the car up and keep the Ray, its a beaut.
23. Traded a G&L for 2 Arias with Basslondon, he even did all the traveling, top man!

obbm's feedback
You are making me regret selling it. No, only joking. I'm really glad that it's working well for you. Awesome sound. I have my eye on a Berg 2x12 next.
Get your eyes off, and your hands on. When i considered selling this cab the rest of my band told me "the cab stays, your out". Its nice to be wanted.
25.
Pretty stunning finish wise, mine just a 4 string version of that. I'd recommend trying one out, you'd be just as pleased with it as your G&L! Glad to see your keeping the '78, sounds great on your myspace recordings
Well, to be fair the G&L has been replaced by an amazing Aria, and that is stopping the Fender being played. Would like to see some pics Schnoz. '78 to late for you?
