1.
Glad you're getting on with the SWR mate
And a thank you too Dubs!! First outing last night. This oozes quality, really got to sharpen up my playing as there is no hiding with this amp.
 2. Thanks for your help guys, but after last nights gig using a newly aquired SWR750 the sound from this cab has gone to a new level. The guys in the band are begging me to keep it. There didnt seem to be much interest anyway, so i have decided to hold on to it. Thanks for selling this to me Dave it really was worth every penny.
 3.
Does it come with the cover? Also, probably might tempt people in, whats the shipping cost? Cheers
Thanks man, i forgot about that. It does come with cover (now edited) Will add shipping costs when i find out.
 4. Not a sniff at this. Am i asking too much? Can anyone who has used berg stuff help me out a little here? Price revision possibly coming up.
 5.
Duran Duran tribute. which is fine with me as I love playing John Taylor's basslines
RIO! One of my fravorite basslines.
 6. Trade wise- i will consider any other cab. i really have to cash in some money on this cab. Wouldnt be getting rid of it otherwise.

 8.
Don't know about Tribs, but I love my US L2500's. Fretless hasn't been out in anger yet but the fretted sits beautifully in a rock covers mix. I am a late, but complete convert.
Is this the green one that was on here? I nearly had this. Gutted!
 9. Looks like i might just sell everything bump.
 10.
Speaking of necks - do any of the Tributes ever come with a Jazz neck? I just can't get on with any other nut width.
I assume the JB2 & SB2 series does. Dont know that for sure though.
 11.
I'm pretty tempted too. I thought about it the last time it was up but I'm running out of space for new basses.
Ive never had a 5 string. I like my Trib so much that this has well tempted me! But i want to try a ray. Just to add to the pros of the Trib, I love the "p-bass on steroids" thing about it. you can cut through any mix with this bass. But, as ou7shined has highlighted if you were to put it on passive mode the sound is absolutely tamed, in a nice more refined way.....i never do this. So much bass for such little money, and the neck on mine is absolutley lovely. I picked mine up from here for £325. No-brainer-absolute bargain IMO.
 12. I would like to get some knowledge of people who have had the experience of both of these instruments. Things that matter to me 1. The best value for money? Are rays worth £300 more second hand. 2. Quality of sound? 3. I cant get a ray sound from my trib, does that make it a lesser being? I own a Trib, and really like it. I really would like a Stingray but paying quite a lot extra to find out i dont like it will be hard to take. So any opinions would be apprieciated.
 13. Can you put me in the queue please.
 14. Yep, it wouldnt bother me to dish out a serial number, but some peeps are just anal about these things i guess.
 15. He seems to have cleared the issue up on the link. I wonder if he saw this?
 16.
---------------------------------------------- Would you consider doing a deal for one of these: Ashdown Head It's in immaculate condition with Ashdown cover. Oggy -----------------------------------------------
Thanks for the offer Oggy, but i have just bought another amp so dont need to accumulate any more. I see you have a shuttle 6, so you know how nice these things are.
 17.
I didn't in the end, few issues with new house and of course the Bright Box saga... Still want one at some point tho. How does it compare to the Nemesis tonally and powerwise?
Hope you get somewhere with the bright box thing. As for the GB vs Nemesis - the nemesis EQ section is the best ive used. Although, i keep it flat on the GB, which says that it suits me without adjustment i suppose. I guess the biggest plus point for the Nemi is the power. And the biggest plus point for the GB is the size/weight. But sitting on top of my 6x10 cab it does look a bit underwhelming. Does sound good though. As for tonally, im not a particularly good judge of this. But id say that they are quite similar-they are both "clean" sounding. TBH Martin, i really like both, but i am trying not to get too sentimental about any of my gear so i can change it quickly and eventually have a go at all manufacturers. SWR750 up next! Has the problem with cutting out on the Nemi happened to you?
 18.
For anyone who needs to know, Chris is a top bloke to deal with - good luck with the sale dude
Cheers mate, did you get one of these amps? Did you get it for a crazy price?
 19. Really impressed with my recent purchase of a 4 string tribute. If i had a spare £350 id be all over this.
 20. GENZ-BENZ Shuttle 3.0 300w @4ohm/175w@8ohm £275+p&p probably not much more than a fiver. These things are lighter than you could imagine is possible for an amp.(its worth taping it down during gigs!) Let alone such a loud and nice sounding one. Ive had this for 6 months or so. Bought from fellow basschatter "chimike". I have decided to try as many amps as possible and not keep the same one for one for too long so that i can try loads. Two of these have gone for silly money recently, and good luck to those who got the bargains! But i am not going to undervalue this amp, as it is fully worth what i am asking. There are good sound shaping options on here, mid cut, low boost, treble boost. EQ with low/high mids, bass and treble. Any other questions, please ask.
 21. He seems to log into BC fairly regularly, so how can he not receive you mails?.......I have dealt with you before Martin and you are a top guy to deal with. The trust between members on this site is one of the best things about this about BC. To have someone ignore you whilst still accessing the site seems to be wrong, and people like the_someone should be avoided like the plague. Good luck with getting somewhere with this guy. I hope this does not devalue the trust you put into other members.
