EHX's answer to the Digi-tech Whammy, can pitch-shift with blend-able dry signal and also can be used for detune effects. Good condition, features wear where the pedal has rubbed against the cradle during use. Never gigged, just home use. Bought this recently. Warms up the tone and provides semi parametric EQ and Boost. Can get a very vintage valvy overdrive when cranked. Also can be used as a Tube Fuzz (almost) with the Colour switch. Features D.I. Near mint condition barely used, one mark lies on the right edge. Features Velcro on back. Selling as I need money. 12V Power Supply included. Runs on my 9V Diago Daisy chain too with reduced headroom but still ample gain to match and surpass bypassed volume. EHX Microsynth XO: Works, just. At some point the Attack Delay pin has fallen off. Parameter still adjustable just need to attach something to it. All effects within the pedal still work. End Frequency parameter is a bit temperamental when adjusting but still works when set. Chassis condition is badly scratched also, however you'll find the paint comes off these units as easy as anything anyway. £30 + Postage. Comes with a Jeff Beck Seymour Duncan as standard at the bridge pickup. Rockbass Softcase included but also in used condition. Original Crème pickup surrounds included too. £120 collected from Colchester. Postage possible but have nothing to pack it in. Yamaha BBT500H 500w into 2ohm Digital amplifier used condition still fully functional, features many amp emulations, highly adjustable compressor/limiter and full parametric EQ. Some of the front panel top left corner by the pre-set buttons has come off. This was done by a previous owner but does not affect functionality. Also, I've never tried it, but EHX do an "Analogizer" Pedal which I guess introduces certain filters to eliminate the unwanted square-wave distortion digital pedals can add. http://www.ehx.com/products/analogizer

Hi I have a Frantabit and love the Bit Depth fuzz sounds too. There are many ways you can try to decrease the high end. 1) buy a Xerograph or another Low Pass Filter, 2) run a sub octave into the Frantabit with the dry signal turned down 3) running the Frantabit into my DHA valve overdrive tames it a lot so it sounds more like a grainy fuzz or a broken radio The one disadvantage I find with the Frantabit is unless you have a high output signal or a boost pedal or a compressor/sustainer infront of the frantabit the Fuzz sustain decays quite fast if your planning on drawing out the note. You most likely already know this. Have you tried the Oxide? Apart from the "fwapping" attack noise some people are not keen on, the Oxide can come pretty close the Frantabit unless you really like the extreme Bit Depth crushing noise all the anti-clockwise. My recommendation then, try finding a cheap second hand DHA VT1 pedal to try out?

I can understand people paying hundreds for an original pickup but why bother paying hundreds for an bit of battered wood? do people still think the wood changes the tone that much???

A year ago when I bought this bass new I was blown away with all the sounds and thought I would never need another bass. As always, needs change and I have come to the conclusion that less is more. Well in my case, I use so many different effects and switch between synths I need a simple bass! This is a year old Musicman Big Al 4-string bass in White/White/maple. It has been gigged weekly but well looked after. In very good condition apart from a couple of scuffs to the top of the headstock and 2 tiny marks (the size of a pin head) on the back of the neck. Currently strung with DR Sunbeams 40-100 (3 weeks old). [url="http://s77.photobucket.com/user/EcoMatt/media/992799_10151704638373570_1566337247_n.jpg.html"][/url] Detailed pictures to follow shortly. As I have my eye on another bass already I am putting it up for sale at £1000 in a bid to sell this quickly before the one I am after sells. After that I will raise the price to £1200. The youtube demos do make this pedal sound immensely fantastic. If I hadn't just bought a DHA VT1 I would of seriously considered this... GLWTS!
