They do feel a little bulkier but that's the price you pay for extra bottom end (look at the size of our cabs!!!) I personally use them on a cable from a small mixer, but agree that if you need to move around you can't compromise on the quality of your wireless system. I've used sennheiser ew300 systems and they seem as good as anything for the money. BEWARE...I've recently heard that all the available frequencies for IEM and radio mic/guitar systems are to change over the next few years because of the expanding mobile networks. My advice is to but a decent second hand one for now and see where the land lies when the changeover happens. Anyone with the current systems may find them either illegal of with mucho interference!!!

    To be honest I have gone back to mainly playing four strings. Like puting on an old pair of slippers! Just fits...yeah nice...

    Yes that just about sums up my opinion of the bass. Sounds great but not really like a fender... Fast neck... Very light... Anyone got one going spare???

    I was lucky enough to find a Westone Thunder 1A at a car boot for only £12. The guy was asking £15 but I still felt the need to barter him down. Not a bad bass either.

    Just joined this bass community so thought I'd say hello. Looks pretty good from what I see so far. I'm a busy player/tutor based in the north of England but I get about quite a bit, have gig will travel. Currently gigging for a Queen tribute band, a party band and a semi-originals funk/jazz outfit. Also turn up from time to time on recordings with some original bands and produce my own bits and bobs in my home studio when time allows it. Anyway enough for now Cheers Clem
