1. Not exactly an educated opinion...but very simply, the further away from the strings the pickup, then the quieter they will be.Are they easy to adjust? If so raise them up a bit and see if there's a difference.

 12.
Not a gug, however......... Was depping in a wedding band at a venue with a number if halls. Arrived and introduced myself to the drummer who was already setting up. Got my rig going and was tuning up for soundcheck when I got a text asking where I was. Turned out I was in the wrong hall with the wrong band! Oops!
You are my new Hero.
 13.
All of a sudden I had chorus, overdrive and wah engaged, with a pair of knockers looking up at me. ...
And this is a bad thing?
 14.
We can all recognise bass sounds from famous players. But has everything been done? Are there any new players out there that still have a recognisable signature sound these days?
Yup.All been done.

 21. Tell me more about the Orange 2 x 18...
 22. We play a lot of all-dayers which inevitably means shared backline/drumkit,and policy is to provide your own breakables. It's definately ettiquette to sort out kit share requirements before hand, and yes,our drummer would be peeved if a support band simply expected him to provide kit without prior arrangement.
 23. And we all know what happened to Private Pyle..
 24.
First-ever guitar was made by 'KAY', and frankly it was rubbish. Played it through a Woolworth's 'AUDITION' amp, and frankly it was rubbish. Hooray for the 1970s! Not.
Likwise. The Kay was a completely useless instrument. It didn't even burn well.
 25.
Say no more...
Hang on,where are the pickups? And you could take someones eye out with that.
