1. Flap about? Anything of a higher gauge might do.
2. Playing bass isn't the same without "that" tone in my ears.
3. Plus 1 to stingray option. Or a jazz with 70s spacing.
4. Bump
5. I stick gaffa tape on mine...
6. Do standard stingray pickguards not fit?
7. Bump
8.
Hi i've been thinking about a Orange Terror bass as i prefer a bit more warmth to my sound. I've got a MB LMII with Markbass bag if you interested? - willing to swap back if either of us are not happy?
If something doesn't happen soon I may consider a trade.
9. Only selling cause I fancy a change and change isn't cheap. I can get a picture of it but you know what they look like and it's near as makes no difference as new. 500w at a choice of either 4 or 8 ohm I can't find anywhere that says so but I guess that when it's running in 4 ohm mode and it's hooked with a single 8ohm load it's pushing more than 300watts, as I can barely notice a difference with the single cabs I've used it with. 2 tubes in the preamp, it sounds great. Big plus for this is that it weighs just under 5kg It massive load and does fat tubey clean all the way to crunch. It's also very articulate, as in you get a nice transfer in sound from pickup to amp to ear. Tonnes of low end to be had. Comes with orange gig bag, and the box it all came in. Price is a straight £400 posted or £390 collected. I'd only trade for a markbass littlemark tube 500 I'd prefer the monies through bank transfer, and as soon as I get notified I'll post it. Check my feedback!
10. The White subs do look the best!.
11. Shad the story on the SUB? The finish looks like a gloss and not the usual textured.
12. You describe the difference of 3EQ and 2EQ perfectly. Plus this review shows that less is actually more.
13. The guy does make me want to buy whatever he is demo'ing. Not to keen on warwicks, like the sound though.
14.
ok chaps, I have finally found a fault with the bongo. whilst sitting on my couch noodling away, I decided to plugin my line6 toneport. Turns out i hate basses that plug in at the bottom. the jag and aerodyne plug into the jack at the control plate and now I have to bloody angle myself whilst playing. Its fine sitting on a chair and things along those lines, however plugged in whilst slouching on a couch aint too niffty.
You only just noticed, and... Does this mean it's up for swaps?
15. Hate to break it to you guys but I do, maybe someone changed them during it's life I dunno? I'll try and get a picture up today !
16. I just register this bass 4 days ago, I've set it up with new strings, truss rod adjustment, string hieght and all I have left to do is the intonation, it's not out by miles but it's annoying knowing that everything after the 12th fret is sharpe! All the Allen keys in my cruztools set don't fit the key holes. 5/32 is slightly too big and 1/8 is definatly too small!! So what to do, there doesn't seem to be an in-between, I've tried all the Allen keys in the house and I can't even find metric ones to fit. I can do the intonation easy so I'm not taking it to get done, I just need the correct Allen key size or an alternative. I've tried searching google and EBMM website but no info anywhere at all.
17.
I am also contemplating a Thunderbird but is my £200 Goth Thunderbird a 1/5 of the bass the Gibson is?
Not a 1/5 but personally there is a significant difference in sound that is only caused by higher quality components, and selected wood.
18. Yes the original one will do the job.
19. They have those sandberg JM4s in Fuzz in Nottingham if you want to try, I did now I'm gassing seriously, once my ray gets here (tomorrow) and I have a matching sandberg I think I'll settle for a while Maybe you should ask Ou7shined for a Pingray though ?
20. Try using the search feature?
21. I took pictures today but got a call from work so now I'm working . And a note on this "teal" business, even in the most natural light it still comes out very blue compared to seeing it in person.
22. Thanks, and no, compared to yours it looks a lot greener. I'm off now tomorrow so I'll be posting picks tomorrow! Promise.
23. I always thought Renegades of Funk would be a good name for a rock funk band. Furry Curry
24. Blue/green, although mine is definatly more blue than green. I will have to get pictures up at the weekend as I'm busy busy at work
25. Isn't that a mere 120watts? Btw I used to own the OTB + compact setup, no need for a PA support, but I switched down to a midget for portability mainly.
