1. Currently looking at insurance for our contents at the minute. I want to include my gear of course. Never once been asked if I get paid and a lot haven't said they don't cover instruments/gear etc
 2. Not looking to spend any money to so condition is not a priority, just looking for downsizing while my gear goes through a change through. The preamp tube is something I'm coming to understand I do not absolutely need, so want something smaller to move around. 600w at 4 ohm 375w at 8ohm Either way it's prenty loud, never really ragged it as once it's gets to certain pint it becomes far too loud anyway. I got it used, and as such has a few surfaces scratches, but purely cosmetic. Will chuck in a mega long kettle lead a neutrick to Jack speaker lead and a gigskinz small bag that it all fits in. Stephen
 3.
Im after a bit of extra eq for my passive bass.would this help?thanx

Yes! Sweepable mids will take care of many many EQ desires. Especially where the range is so wide like in this case.
Sorry I missed these but yes it's like an active bid range you'd find on any modern EQ. Certainly work on my passive basses
 4. As above posted. Used slightly more than the last one that I had on sale. No grooves but some wear from several sets of strings. Comes with mount screws. Priced to go, so no drops or trades thanks. Stephen
 5. Just caught a picture on the MB FB page or Marco wearing a stingray stood with what appears to be a Musicman branded 6x10 cab and an accompanying head. Are they moving production to Indonesia to focus their efforts at EBMM bass amps? Whars the craic?
 6. I wouldn't say I regret stuff, as for me the journey Is half the fun. It's hard to decide what you really like without trying a few things, and even then, you can never be sure the next thing isnt going yo be better. I sort of wish I didn't sell then rebuy and sell again my Markbass LMTube, but now I have something that is more portable and has afew more useful things on it, along with sounding the same and being just as loud.
 7.
Got a couple of quick questions for you guys if you'd be so kind im assuming the "Graft" series are a more basic line, "budget" models for lack of a better word? What kind of waiting time is on them? I really want a 5 string Recurve... will have to drop the man an email at some point. The acrylic impregnated woods looks brilliant too.
While cheaper and with less options looking through some pictures you'd be hard pressed to say which is a graft.
 8.
The customer will only tell you how brilliant the basses are. I just emailed Alan today and he replied within 2 hours.
That's good to know. My bass is a passive one, vol, tone and a 4 way rapotary switch.
 9. Just brought an ACG graft off cliff. Really quick, and wasn't too bothered that I made him rush to get it packed top dude.
 10. Just took delivery of this beautifully crafted, amazingly light, awesome sounding ACG Graft Finn. I've changed the pickup heights to what I usually have them at, however the neck pickup is a far cry quieter than the bridge. If I raise the neck pickup any more then the magnets start pulling on the strings, thought I'd ask here before popping up the hood.
 11.
Can you elaborate? And which Shuttle, please?
It's a 6.0 although I would like to upgrade to either a 6.2 or 9.2. For me size and weight is important, and the shuttles fit in my gig bag plus leads. Plus sweep able mids over selectable gives a broader range of sounds. Plus for me, the pretty flat output is what I want, and rehearsals and gigs makes it easier for me to make EQ changes against the room.
 12. If you don't want to drill, don't, I velcro'd my power supply to the under side of my PT
 13. Well I wanted more power, and one came up cheap. But never really got on with the inherent sound of it along with a few other niggles. The shuttle I eventually replaced it with ticks more of my boxes
 14.
How do you know which strings to buy if you would like higher tension?
Usually bigger gauges have higher tension when tuned to pitch. For example a daddario 100 tuned to E has tension X but a 110 tuned to E has a Y (a few lbs more) but tuned to Eb has the same tension as a 100 tuned to E. Daddario publish there tensions on their website. And for multiple tunings..
 15. People who say it's low with no buzz either don't have it low enough or aren't playing hard enough.
 16.
With fuzzes, often stacking 2 overly saturated effects will create an overly compressed sound, which doesn't suit many people. You might find that stacking two Russian Tall Fonts at lower gain settings will achieve a tone different to one Tall Russian at a higher gain setting. Personally, I find it more fun stacking different pedals, mix & match Si
This, I have an always on overdrive at low gain and then another with slightly different settings to stack on top of the low gain one. To me it sounds better than having one for low gain and another for high gain. It's all opinions though
 17.
Lent my sonic port to a friend for the night and now appears to not be working. Awesome
Did he try to play his sonic the hedgehog 2 cartridge on it? Audiobus thing sounds promising, I'll be able to play more once I can actually have a play with it all
 18. Yeah try and get down to the midlands bash. I met shep at my last bash, friend for life now.
 19.
I suppose you love valentines too?
Any commercialised 'holiday' where I feel pressured into buying a card I love. I feel pressured into getting fuzz as it seems a very bassist thing to do. Bit crushers are more me.
 20. Well for me I'd make my patches and it'll be a set and forget job. My only issue that I could see is doing the drive I want, or getting the sort clean under dirt sound I get with the pedals.
 21.
Thanks. That would be a long drive for me to bring two basses.
Well looks like there should be at least 4 ACGs coming now, and I've just brought a second hand graft too which makes it 5.
 22.
Leicester isn't too far from Sheffield, so if people were interested I can head down with some Cog Effects gear. If I can sort transport I'll happily bring two BFM Jack 15s (i have downsized cars and this rig is suddenly a lot less transportable!) - lots of rigs being brought already though so will leave if we are all sorted!
Do it. Looks I should bring my wallet
 23.
Many thanks, I'll go and try that
report back, I'd hate for this to be one of those 'too good to be true' things. I'm not selling my stuff just yet. need to invest in a sonic port.
 24.
Or a pre/power rack with more power than the Orange and any preamp you want. The Orange sounds great but these days it's about more than that. Loads of amps sound just as good and are smaller and cheaper. Screw the Fafner, for the same price as the sleeved version you can have an OTB 1000, a GK MB Fusion AND an Ampeg 350.
I don't know I found the Fafner to be something pretty special, if my needs weren't so specific the EBS could replace my board and my amp. At the minute I want to try this iOS stuff tayste has been going on about I the effects forum. If it's as good as I hope it'll replace most of my live rig.
