1. Brought it and again I don't really need it. In great shape, does what it does and does it well, adds no hiss, and is passive, the power supply only lights the LED when it is engaged. Blend is a nice function, for keeping some clean in a distortion pedal you like. posted £25.
2. Just got it, don't need it, that's it. does A or B or Both, as ins or outs. Fantastic condition.
3.
err yup, i think ur right, i don't understand that stuff, but it is loud!
no doubt, my old one was the loudest 250 watts at 8 ohms I know.
4. OUTPUT POWER 300W RMS @ 8 ohm, 500W RMS @ 4 ohm from the website. I know the back says 600watts though.
5. Looks awesome mate, I have a soft spot for single cut right now too. Too bad I don't do chrome.
6. Thanks PEd, all sorted now. Might be an idea to put on the OP about warning from doing through mobiles (I was logged in at the time)
7. Here I have my Xotic BB Preamp for sale. Just fancy changing as you do. Not so much a preamp but a really versatile overdrive pedal, with a 2 band EQ. Lots of range on the gain knob, will do really snarly dirty overdrive all the way to warm fuzz. In amazing condition as its ne of the few things I haven't used to death. Comes with box, will need to look for the manual (but its self explanatory) and have the receipt. The serial number sticker has been moved as the velco on the bass would have ruined it. Trades. Nothing out there is tickling my fancy too much, but I'm on the lookout for anything interesting.
8. sure thing, I will try again from my laptop(which I am now on.)
9. Just completed a subscription payment via my phone, without beinga member to paypal, while posting a new thread, after paying I had to re-trype my whole for sale thread again, then the subscription message came up again. I used a different email though, "][email protected]
10. Alas it would stay in less than a heart beat, but gas is gas and its a far cry trade, will not be sold regardless
11. IIRC was about £450, excluding postage, and depending n if you had the silvergrill cloth or not, also there was a £80(IIRC) surcharge per driver then too, so the current price of £500~£550 is including the surcharge I think. Its definitely gone up a fair bit. The last one on her that was used was set at £450 so I had to check thinking it was the same as the new price. Edit: scratch that, some reason the tweetered version costs over a hundred pound more than they did a while back. a bit mad, I'd just go for a compact, unless I had to travel on a bicycle.
12. Battle of the egg heads. I'm interested in these cabs, 99% of gigs are done with pa support so s rather have a cab that was designed for mids than an incredible and pointless low end.
13. I have done some reading and found that buffered an be good however my chain is not going to be massive long, and from what else I've read the buffer in the ls-2 is a little pants. So right now I'm going with a a+b passive box, my wireless reciever has two outputs so going to have two rows of outputs coming from that.
14. I want a ramp made for my sandberg so that when I'm not playing over the pickup it gives the same feel.
15. I would stop being a girl about it, but its always on the back of mind I'm not too fussed about the dirt in one loop, but I still want the option of it being off and not effected by anything.
16. I want to do what basically the ls-2 does from boss, in regards to mixing two seprate channels with independant volumes into one output. Being a snob i want true bypass, but anything that does what the ls-2 can (brand new) is more than pricey. I'm looking at my options for cheapo channel mixers. I already have a loooper which can add a blended loop to a dry signal but I really need two channels that are independent of each other. So I was thinking if my loooper can output on both the output and effects send (without the return being used) could I use something like an A/V mixer to mix both outputs back into one signal.?
17. You and your parallel compressing.
18.
I've used my Sandberg basic for everything, pop, rock, funk, soul, motown, ska, country, blues. And it works with all of them, and I barely tweak the EQ, it just sounds great. There is a video review of some bass tested by Paul Turner, he said he liked it that much during testing that he played it in the Jamiroquai set that night. To me that says that the bass' sound is irrelevant (I am putting my shields up for the bombardment!). If it sounds good it will work, it didn't matter if Turner used a jazz, or a sting ray, or a warwick no one is really going to notice that much are they? Go for it, after all the bass won't be played on its own in a band will it? Dan
True say, I play my basic in a pop-punk-alt band, sounds mint
19. True, if you lie the 2x10s sound but need more buying the same cab will give you the same sound but more of it. If I came to the party sooner I would hve said 2 2x10s over a single 410, for a whole load of reasons but now I use single 410 anyway. Just need something to get it in the air at gigs (ear height)
20.
No, only if you turn it up very loud and ignore the audible warning signs from the cab (i.e. excessive growling, farting etc). And it's only 1000W into a 4 ohm load - into an 8 ohm load it's 500W.
This. The compact is going to be about as good as it gets for a lightweight cab that shifts massive air, and price wise. The ashdown will be nothing like the barefaced stuff.
21. [sup]it's all crap.[/sup] [sup]Majority of bands doing it wrong and majority of venues doing it wrong.[/sup] [sup]we've been doing it wrong for ages but still manage to get good gigs, albeit not regular and it takes a bit of persuading.[/sup]
22. These line boosts are only going to jump your volume up too, I know that is kind of the idea, but the volume knob needs to go down when the gain goes up. You have the right idea, but it woukd be a lot simpler to juat get a OD pedal, and even if you don't dig it that much, low gain settings with te volume up high will act like a signal boost anyway. The volume increase thy you'll get from the line boost will give sou d guys headaches.
23. Fea do a dual band distortion pedal. It's effectively a dual stage distortion with band passes. The lo or hi side can be bypassed completely, along with the lo having a clean blend. You can set individual amounts of dirt on either side too, and IIRC each side has frequency sweeps. Looks very good on paper, so I'd look at thy for inspiration(as its expensive too) I too never really big clean blends as you never hear your clean tone properly. My board is essentially a full range clean with a loop added with just the midrange distorted. I want to try the fulltone ocd as that has band passes on it.
