Now £125 (OVNO) + delivery Very nice Squier Precision 5-string bass. I bought this to do the odd song my Hipshot Xtender wouldn’t reach. Decided I would just use a Digitech Drop instead. No chips, scratches or dings that I can see, other than on the headstock, as pictured. Somewhere between 4.5 and 5 kg‘s. Has two jazz pickups as opposed to the usual precision in the middle position. I bought a precision because I tried a Ibanez five string and found it very cramped between the B and E strings at the nut. This being a P, it's a little wider and I find that more comfortable. Front to back at first fret is 20-21mm. The bridge volume was temperamental so I replaced the entire loom with a custom made solder less one. Prefer collection but can post. I imagine the cost of this will be about £30 to mainland UK.

Unit only no remote or cables looks like it fires up okay, outputs to a TV, and connect to a wired network, but that’s as far as I can go without a remote. Few quid for postage?

Very generous.

Lovely, roasted, maple fender, precision neck, classic 50s, with vintage skinny frets. Virtually no play wear. was set up with Sandberg, tuners and string retainer. nut slots are a tiny bit too wide at the top but strings sit snuggly at the bottom. The slot slots are angled slightly downwards towards the headstock correctly. very light weight 700 g neck, ideal for a lightweight build. Gloss finish on the front, but a lovely satin finish on the back. neck plate and screws included £185 delivered, but a little bit less if collected This is my one and only price drop before taking my chances on the 'Bay.

Thanks for the clarification, you’re absolutely right. Yeah, Gisele really takes great care with her work, easy to see why she’s the go-to.

One thing to bear in mind; when I got mine done from CE, they only accepted moulds from 'approved' audiologist. EDIT: it has been pointed out that this is not true, they are accepted but fit not guaranteed. See the reply here:

Seeing if there’s any interest in this beaut I’ve recently built from good quality parts. My version of a Vintera bass, but even lighter as I fancied a roasted maple neck. currently strung with round wound elites nickels, medium gauge, and a low action. GAS never sleeps and I have my eye on something else. Fender Mex roasted maple neck gloss front, satin back vintage frets sandberg lightweight tuners and string retainer Squier body, unknown wood Tonerider TRP1 pickup Anodized Aluminium pickguard KiOgon wiring loom Wilkinson Bridge 3.4 kg and balances brilliantly, no neck dive will be sold without bass x-tender, so will source a matching sandberg tuner.

But if you decide to go for US made ones and are near Hertfordshire, hit up these guys: http://www.custom-inearmonitors.co.uk/index.html UK reseller for most of the major brands. They do temporary moulds so you can try out different brands and models, and deal with the whole process of ordering and deals with any support issues.

+1 I have the version of the CE6P (CE6B?) that favoured bass frequencies but don't see that on their site now. Pretty sure @Higgie has CE IEMs as well.
