5. I thoght it would be about a GK BLX cab !
6. It's not as heavey as it may look. There's a large cavity behind the controls. 12.5 lbs. The shape was taken from Chris Squires Mouradian CS74. I used the necks from Westone Spectrum. As for bass pedal synth I use these.

8. I bough this one a year ago off a BC member for £625. They are fairly rare now, I haven't seen one for sale for years. You have to hear one to believe how awesome they are.
9. The BBC give up on subtitles.
10. Absolutely gutted. Like many here Chris was the reason I took up bass and got into Rics. I will play my CS Ltd edition tonight, just to myself.
11. Spacechick will be along any time now to put you lot in line. You're all skating on thin ice.
12.
GAS after Gelfin's Kramer!
It's a keeper. It took me 18 months to persaude it's last owner to sell it to me. Medium scale makes it a bit easier to play than long scale 8's. Humbuckers with coil taps give immense tonal range. Can be played subtle or monsterously ott.
13. I'm currently using this Kramer 8.
14. Just had a similar problem with my mates electro acoust ic 12 string. (last night) Turned out to be the jack socket. the part of the socket that connected to the sleeve of the jack plug had bent a little with use, over time. On close examination it was not touching the sleeve but just resting on the insulator between tip and sleeve.
15.
If true that's even more shocking.
Why wouldn't it be true?
16. A while ago I came home and found a note from a delivery driver saying my parcel (mandolin). was in the green wheelie bin. Just as I read it I heard the bin being collected and had to chase the guy to the wagon to retrieve it.
17. Well if you want to be ott Behringer's iPod dock does it.
18. Show some pics of the broken catches.
19. Could you build a cab for this driver that I found in the shed.
20. How about an isobaric 8 X 10?
21.
They are unfortunately a waste of time IME. Overpriced spares, and at the time I attempted to deal with them, didn't have a clue on technical advice for my 400RB that I needed. Shame as such great amps deserve a better distributor IMHO.
Actually agree with this, but it is the only first port of call in the UK. I found it best to get the spec directly from GK then order through PA.
22. These are the curent GK importers. http://www.polaraudio.co.uk
23. I have been in the Hi Fi industry for some 30 years and serviced more LP 12's than I can remember. Whilst it is true that they can benefit from regular servicing if it is performing OK then don't worry. Some enthusiasts can get a little over zealous about the accuracy of the set up. How long since you had the cirkus upgrade? If you want to change the oil be certain to get the correct stuff, either from Linn or a Linn dealer. If you can set up your own guitar then changing a cartridge should be no problem. It's not all smoke and mirrors as some would believe. Don't go down the shipping route. By the time it gets back to you it would probably need setting up again. If you want me to help feel free to PM me and I will give you my phone number to talk you through anything. Hi Spyder, who are you in A T reading. I was in Audio X / T / 7 Oaks / T in Cardiff till a couple of years ago.
