I got my domain name through Machine networks, costs about £5 a month. I use Serif web plus to create and maintain it. Nothing fancy but it does the job. Use it for my business not the band.

Here's me with one of Huw's early Merlin basses at a show in Bristol some 30 ish years ago. I used to build flight cases for his instruments. He seems to have aged well. Gale guitars used to be at Alma Vale Rd, Bristol. That was at least 35 years ago. He made some pretty modern shape for that time. The Pulsar comes to mind. Also he may have been the pioneer of scalloped frets. I remember trying one out and thought it was unplayable. Bit of searching found this. Had a problem about a year ago with a GK head. Fitted wrong transformer which took out the main board. Took some heavy threats and many emails to get nowhere. Emailed GK who sent over all the required bits FOC.

I was always amazed at the "No more nails ad's" where they stuck a chair to a painted wall and a bloke sat on it quite safely. Given that it didn't pull the paint off I figured that you could just use paint.

Mazeti was a brand name chosen buy an ebay shop/seller "Twincam" I believe they come out of the same factory as Shine. I had a 12 twelve electric and have an 8 string bass. Both pretty cheap but reasonably good quality for the price. Sold a power amp to Luke back in December. It was damaged by courier and I had to make a claim. Luke was really cool about and said to wait till it had been settled. Just settled with both of us happy. Luke is a great guy to deal with. Nic

Signed Same thing happened to The Point in Cardiff.

As above re Bstring on talk bass. There are two, Bstring and B_string. The first is the one you want. He is also very helpful on the GK forum and does seem to have access to GK info (more than most). Another simple option would be to take an effects send from the 700 and connect to the return on the 600. Thus using the pre on the 7 and the power on the 6.

Hi, where are you located. You may find a BC'er near you that can help.

Which version are you going to play. Short or long live track off Twin Peaks?

Saw Sahb many years ago. Brilliant. One great laugh at the gig was when Alex dropped his mic over the front of the stage. The guy in the audience made him say "please" to get it back. He took it all in great humour, with quite a few expletives. -
