I have this problem on my jazz where the G string goes over the edge of the board when i am digging in at gigs. it seems to be from around the 7th fret , have added a couple of pics for reference, had a brass nut made which you can see here and wondering if the slot is a bit too far over or maybe its probs at the bridge end ? what you think?

Oh no, not this again

I didn't see it last time round and wouldn't of thought of searching for it , seems to be a fair few people commenting on it so not all bad ! -
I really love the idea of having one old bass that has age and mojo , I love my old antoria jazz , but do get gas from time to time , moved a few on as they just didn't fit me ! Sure there will be others !

I know someone who's selling a honey blonde Classic '50s P for around £500 for what it's worth.

Is this for sale on here ? Quite fancy a p for a change , only really played jazz's lately ! -
Do you do tea and biscuits ? On my way

This sounds like the perfect gig for me , as my pout is better than my playing lol !

Great pups! I put some in my old USA Jazz, and they were awesome! Much better than the SD Quarter Pounders I had in there previously IMHO.
I'm also stuffed and a bit drunk, just contemplating re-stringing my bass and attempting to figure out how to use the Zoom!

Lol ! Prob not the ideal time to try and figure the new zoom out , or second thoughts maybe the ideal time, as long as you remember what bits you figured out tonight -

I had a bottle of Bank's Bitter (from the Midlands) as I watched the 2 docs on Virgins catch up iplayer thingy.
Not because I wanted an authentic midlands experience but because it's on offer in Morrisons !!
BTW - wine dinkers - Dancing Bull red Zin and sauv blanc on offer in Morrys too. You won't get better for the coin.

Do love a drop of banks 's , reminds me of when I was a kid ! -
Not opened my bits yet so not sure myself !

Merry Christmas and some interest from me too

Never been really happy with my fretless jazz sound either , I have flats on it at the moment, so think I will try what you have done and see if it makes a difference !
