At a village fate ,we are meant to be playing on the back of a curtain sided trailer but with the way the weather is down here atm i can see it being cancled not happy as not had any gigs in a few weeks ,just want the sun to shine ,its supposed to be summer! rant over! lol

I have just got a retrovibe one in fireglow and its great , its got musicman type pickups which may not look anything like the rick ones but they really pack a punch ,somewhere between a p bass and a musicman theres a natural one in the for sale section here for £190 with the case which is a steal if you ask me !

Would a guitar big muff be ok for bass ? its just i have been offered one as a present that is no longer being used by my mate who used to use it for his guitar . the bass one was on my birthday list , can i now cross it off or are they totaly different?

i use my old trace elliot 300 combo for the sort of places we play,mostly pubs really and i just go off backline, never get any complaints and even on the odd occasion i get some compliments!

Do you mean the dots when you say fret markers ? i got an unlined fretless a couple of months back and am suprised how easy i have taken to it ,it still has dots on top of the neck so i know where i am at a quick glance then all i have to try and get right is my intonation.
